Hello, new here. I see a lot of hate tor LP's and Tweed. I recently have been permitted medical use. The place I went to was Medical Marijuana Clinics on Danforth in Toronto, and they had me see 3 people, 1st was some nurse I assume asking me basic questions, second was a Dr (I assume a real Dr) 3rd was some guy which claims he is a separate entity than the clinic, and he is supposed to be there to "guide" me and help expedite somewhat, signing up to a clinic, and he shoved Tweed down my throat (thats how it felt) and he also recommended strains. Felt the need to tell me Lorazapam was not Ativan, which when I checked my brand name Ativan when I got home Lorazapam was indeed the compound listed under the word Ativan. He also felt the need to give some opinions on what my shrink has prescribed me, who is extremely well respected in the community.

OK, so down to the point.
I do not have the option to grow my own, no patience, time (it would be 3 months start to finish bare minimum from now), start up money or given permission which would be the key reason not to.
Who would people suggest to use, for consistent supply of a good base of strains, I would want to trial and error a number, and would want to ensure, the strain(s) I find suitable to be available when I go back. I have read that Tweed isn't (despite its size) not a reliable source for strain availability.
Do most concur? I am open to opinions, and would prefer you do not reply if you have a vested interest in a company.

yeah, everything you are asking for can be delivered by the LCS if you have the correct paperwork.
Don't waste time trying to sample LPs - the process is difficult.
Maybe signup with an LP and place one order so you have the "prescription bag" to cover your ass, even though CC patients rarely, if ever, get bothered.

Canna Farms treated me good. Pretty nice product but a bit on the pricey side. I got my first order from MedReleaf a few hours ago. Looks great but haven't tried yet.

LP's represent the way that patients rights to grow have been stripped away. If you have a script for more than 3g/day then I wouldn't even bother with an lp unless you can make it onto one of the compassionate pricing programs. Some have waiting lists for this. I would look into cc's. My two cents.

Hi Cobra
Welcome here by the way. CC's are compassion clubs and you are free to join as many as you like.

A much better way to get your meds if you can't grow your own.

Thank you for the quick replies.
For my local area, lets say Toronto (I'm not exactly in TO, but it is much closer than any other major metro area), is there one that someone would recommend over the other? For consistency, pricing? Variety? I'm new to this, and do not currently use THC products at all. So somewhat of a newbie, but willing to learn.
I am on ODSP income, and J******** (i think was his name, and may be spelled wrong) was saying I should not have a problem getting on Tweeds compassion pricing of 20% off site pricing.

Last question...for now :) ...Do you need to go to Compassion Clubs to get orders, or mail same as LP? <-- My first acronym yay!

Welcome!

So you have a limited income. I would think compassion clubs are your way to go. If you sign up to an LP, and they send you something that doesn't work, they're not really going to care...they already have your money. CCs can give you some good direction as to strains for what ail you be aue that's what some of them do. I have only dealt with BCCCS and they were very helpful. Just call around and ask questions.

The problem with the Toronto clubs that I know of is they are TOO expensive.
Yes the LCS will mail order to you and they have strains as low as $5 a gram. Plus sweat leaf and ready roll. Good folks to deal with and their products are as described.
Try these guys. It's been a while since I was there so maybe they have some pricing you could live with. They are just east of downtown on the Danforth I think.

He said Ativan and Lorazopam were not the same thing.......WTF???
Dude. I hope you get off the Anxiety shit meds and find something that works BETTER!!!.
Did the well respected Doctor who put you on the benzo's tell you that may very well be on Lor/Ativan for the rest of your life? I'm sure you know by now after only a short while of weeks that it is highly addictive...................................which they don't bother telling the ones they leave on it for longer....:cuss:

Ever been to Benzo buddies?

Benzo Buddies? Nope can't say that I have, never heard of it.

Yes, I was given all the down sides, have been closely monitored for side effects and whatever, bloodwork all the time. I do not have any addiction issues, I have used and stop many addictive substances (benzos and when I was young and dumb other very addictive things that I just stopped when I wanted to, smoking etc). But Benzos are not an issue, but thanks for the mention, can't hurt.
I use Clonazapam once a day, which does not really do anything at this stage. It took me all of 3 days to build a tolerance to Xanax, and got a new prescription for something different. My tolerance for benzos is ridiculous.
The medical Marijuana is for sleep disorder, a few anxiety issues (which can be, to me at least, relatively severe, and prevent me from enjoying life outside these walls of my house), Bi-Polar problem, adult ADHD,
