Thanks for stopping in Scalded Dog!

I named the plants today based on characteristics.

Here is Burnee and CF1

CF2 and Bushy

Burnee has made a great recovery!

Burnee from the top view...

CF1 has all of the fan leaves removed vs CF2 keeping all fan leaves. They are the same strain and age, only difference being pruning technique.

No I will modify the lid to take the net pots I have a collection of.

I took a clone off CF1 and CF2. Burnee and Bushy still are not cloned. Battery died on the camera.

I think if you put the foil tape around your res so night light gets in there you would get better root growth... the roots love the dark. That's why people do 18/6, the 6 hours of dark busts root growth. It might help the little one.

I wish my camera was working, the little one has exploded and the big one is now happily giving clones.

Thanks for stopping by, I have been busy working on the other rooms and will come back and tweak the res setup, those shoe boxes are just temp solutions anyway, I'm shopping for a 5 gal res that will fit in there and house just one mother plant per box. both boxes will have a hydroponic res because it is much simpler than soil IMO.

Anyway you live and learn, I thought I would give it a shot for shits and giggles.

Thanks for stopping in this project will continue to evolve, I'm just working out the kinks now and selecting mother plants, the clones will be ready to flower soon.

Nice setup, very nice. So, how big can they get in there? 2 feet or so?
I missed the size some where.

Thanks for stopping by, I would say they could get about a foot and a half they are small mothers.

Here are some updated pictures...

I'll try and stop by more but I have a ton of small projects going on right now.

Time for an update...
My soil mothers have been sent to the garden in the sky. I now have a temporary genetic library in the box where the soil mothers were.

I placed two clones of the four phenotypes I have. So far no signs of ruderalis genetics in these. I'm excited!

You can almost see the root growing, the stem is getting more like a trunk on these wee little ones.

I am in the process of designing a tiny hydro system to house 3 or 4 mothers in 2" net pots, the other clones that are not chosen as mothers will be moved to my clone tub.

Here is my hydro mum filling the box nicely. My next round of cuttings will come from her.

This is a stem!

So far no pre-flowers... To me that means no ruderalis, this is the 11th node.

beautiful man just beautiful
what soil mix do you use in those early ones
I used a local "pro-mix" .1-.1-.1 that was flushed with water and then added nutrients a week later. I'm going to use DWC from now on for the mother plants because the production is so much more pronounced.

That is what my genetic library is for, a fresh start in DWC with the same genetic properties.

I have been weeding them out to select the appropriate genetics I wish to work with.

Thanks for stopping by you should check out my other links in my signature.
