Two weeks left!! Lets finish strong!

Okay, so I figure I have about two weeks left. The catalyst have already started to explode and hairs started to recede. I don't want to hear about how to check the trichomes and how the hairs will recede into the buds or anything like that, I already know all of that. What i'm saying is i'm chopping in 2 weeks (A little over 11 weeks of flowering) regardless of what any of you say.
There are so many different ways that people approach the last two weeks, but to me the most logical and beneficial way would be to do a flush, with 14 days left and then water a couple of times during the final two weeks. When there are only 4 days left you can stop watering to help aid in the drying process. Finally, the last 48 hrs turn off the lights and chop right before lights on.

The Plan: Countdown is at day 14.
Monday- Flush each of my four, 7 Gallon pots ,with 21 gallons of pure water.
Saturday- Regular Water, minus nutrients
Wednesday- Last Regular water, minus nutrients
Saturday- Lights off
Monday- Go in with the chainsaw right before lights would normally come on and chop down the sexy ladies!!!

What I would like to know is what do you think about my final 2 weeks plan? Is it good or do you think I need to add anything or not do something? Any and all critique is welcome, unless your going to try and tell me to wait longer or that I should cut down now lol.

IM flushing while they are in the dark, its just a test. not sure WHY im doing it tho... prolly a abad idea
LOL, it's probably not to bad of an idea. You hear about people not ever flushing or even doing a dark period so i'm sure you'll be just fine. Trial and Error, it may work better than what i'm doing. :weed:

Just wondering why you guys do a 'flush' before you start the 'flush'?. Isn't the plant going to be kinda hungary after 2 weeks, if you flush first?. I thought the whole point was the 2 weeks was spent absorbing the remaining nutes in the soil? Surely, 2 weeks without food ain't going to be good for production?. :-(

I flushed 21 gallons through each of my 7 gallon pots on monday. Whatever works for you I guess though, as long as your not getting a harsh smoke at the end.

From what I understand is the plant stores nutes in the leaves and during those last 2 weeks of just giving your plant water and not allowing it access to any type of nutrients, it begins to think the end is near and starts using all the stored energy and pushing out everything it has left it it. That way your plants put everything they had into your buds. It should take about 2 weeks for your plant to use up the last of the stored nutrients.

Ok so I guess my plan didn't work out the way I though it would. I watered each of the pots with 21 gallons, for the flush, but the problem is that they didn't need any water until tonight. I gave them each half a gallon, because I don't want the soil to be wet when I chop. Do you think that's enough of a flush and/or water for them to not smell like grass, because i'm really worried about that happening. They smell excellent right now, but i've seen people have great smelling herb before, but after the chop it smelt like grass.

Should I flush them for half a week longer or should I give them some more water tonight and hope I don't get the hay smell after I chop on sunday?

I had some un-flushed, light burnt, dried out skunk #1 that usually reeeeeeeks but this smelt like sweet hay... after a 4 day dry and 3-5 days in paper bags the smell had already come back. of to jars for 2 weeks and the buds are so dank and the crystals seemed to have filled out and the buds are more white than green and the smell was indescribable.

I personally think any bud can be saved as long as it is dried and cured properly:leaf:

Check out the grow journal for some updated pics of the girls that are coming down monday. They're not in any need of "saving" I was just worried about messing up the curing process. I've read thousands of curing threads, but I finally found one that I liked the way they did things, so I'm pretty sure this shits gonna come out FIRE!!!
