Two years wasted on the Mueller Investigation. How will the media discredit President Trump next?

along with the not so silent 65% majority that will definitely be heard in '20'...
i don't want to see any impeachment hearings, just enough congressional investigations to distract him from continuing to fuck-up the nation any further...
Not picking an argument. I'm ok with that strategy. The main goal is Republicans out of power as soon as possible. From your view in red-nation, you see different things than I do. But really, do you think this would cause Democrats to lose Indiana? Aren't they already in the "Trump could murder people in broad daylight and they would still vote for him" camp?

Still, Trump's crimes are documented in Mueller's report. Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation multiple times. Some would ask "what does it take?". Congress sitting by and tut-tutting while establishing the precedent that a president may interfere with a special counsel's investigation without concern that he be called out for his actions is something that should be considered carefully.

I hear you but why should he always be exempt from consequences? I would like to see the full weight of consequences of his criminal acts fall upon him to the point is publicly disgraced. Time to make an example of this guy. We will make one either way.

i totally concur, but what makes me a bit apprehensive about that tactic is that it will motivate his non voting base of gun lovin/gay-minority hatin couch potatoes to gather forces and participate...it'll be like rousing a pack of lazy sleepin hound dogs.
an like i mentioned, the trumps have got a lot more to worry about with the SDNY investigations and deal with real serious consequences..

it will have to be a super motivated national collective outrage and "moral" republicans that have the balls to take a stand that I've only witnessed once in my lifetime an that was in '72',
americans are a bit more apathetic & partisan to a fault than they were back in the day...

House of Representatives impeached Bill Clinton. The Senate didn't vote to remove him from office. Republicans won all three branches of govt in the very next election.

So, it doesn't have to be the full meal deal. Clinton was disgraced and Republicans weren't hurt by the failed attempt at removing him. Is this all that different? Those couch potato, beer guzzling grabembythepussy types are going to show up regardless. I don't see why we should walk carefully around them. In Portland Oregon we confronted the bitches and they are not so emboldened now.

I'd like to hear what people in the swing states think about this.

Here in Oregon, there is no chance that Trump will win. Republicans are trying to restrict voting because as they say "unless something changes I don't see a Republican controlled state-government for the foreseeable future". So, my perspective is quite possibly different from states that have many undecided voters..

So, what about it? Michigan, Wisconsin, PA and Minnesota and OH? What do you Democrats in those states think?

same can be said when ford & the republicans were nationally landslided after the watergate hangover,
but trump is an aberration whom single handily lowered the acceptable bar of dignity of the office he unfortunately occupies to the point that not only his solid moronic base willingly overlook an will give him a pass for everything that anyone else would be tarred & feathered and sent out on a rail for, also that would include the 10 or 15% who claim they're on the fence or in other words people who are too ashamed to admit they are staunch trump supporters...nothing trump does will offend the greater majority of republicans to the point of losing their support.

My aggressive nature has gotten me into losing situations before so I've learned to take advice from others before acting. But dammit, I hate the idea of being afraid of Trump and letting his crimes go unpunished. I understand what you are saying but I hope Democrats stop playing to not lose.

if more folks had shared your genuine deep compassion & concern we wouldn't have found ourselves in this horrible situation.
