Tyin' it Up

Hey guys, my plant is really growing too tall for the space I have for it. I've got it on a 12/12 cycle now, but that seems to have sped up its growth. I've read a lot of posts where people suggest either bending the plant or tying it down to prevent this. Does anyone have any photos or more in depth information on exactly how I should tie it down? I don't want to fuck up and kill the poor bastard.

Many thanks,

Monstah.

there are certain things you can do such as twist ties and what not ...not 100% sure but i think its best to do this during the veg stage..just my opinion might wanna do some more research on this topic

It depends on how far into the bloom cycle you are. Most plants stop growing after a few weeks of bloom and start concentrating on bud formation. I would take the main top and bend it down in and upside down "U" shape. Try to expose some of the smaller branches to the light. You can pierce a little hole on the top edge of your pot and just tie the plant down with something that isn't sharp (like fish string). If your plant has multiple tops, I would bend them and tie them all.

Get some paper clips fold the top over but be careful it not hard the top will just fold make sure you do it careful then either widen the clip or if it fits slide it over the two parts of the plants use string. But stay away from the gardening twine with a thin coat of wire running through the middle this can cause a reaction with you plant.Use the paper clips with a thick coat of plastic the one that are all coulours.Just had a nightmare with arjons ultra haze#1 that thing was 9 foot at 5 week and it needed 13.
