Type of light needed for seedlings inside

What is the type of lighting i need for seedlings? I am not going to keep them inside - they will go outside when big enough. Thanks!

GE "Sunshine" fluorescents (5000k) work well for vegging.

if i have 5 seedlings should one work? and can you get these at wal-mart?

I use one 125w cfl and it would do 5 seedlings easy.
You can get cfl almost anywhere.

for seedlings most Cfls or Tubes will work perfectly well regardless of them being warm/white etc... aslong as the heat stays low enough you can have as man watts as you want Good look Buddy
