UK growers and smokers

No they could regulate how much you have in one place, carry, access to seeds, ask you to pay licences or be registered, restrict medication through blood tests etc etc etc

Please don't assume these guys give a shit about us, if they think were growing too much and they aren't selling enough they now have the power to cut your plants and seeds right down.

this legal thing dosent suit growers, it suits the average non grower who wants to get high, with legality they have more rights and growers have less.

I support free trade of weed and no set limits on anything, anything else is just a joke, when do i start paying for thew air i breath too....
It would support illegal growers as you’d have an actual job title and sell to coffee shops/dispensaries or whatever, and also right now we grow a bunch of plants and it’s completely illegal yeah? So what would the difference be if it was legal? You’d still grow however many you want and the police wouldn’t even bother you at all, it’s illegal at the moment and they ain’t busting threw my door checking what I have so want makes you think they’ll do that if it was legal? you MAYBE right about a licence or not, we will not know until it/if it happens.

Big companies would supply all coffee shops and dispesaries as what happens in recent legal American states. Many growers would stop as has also happened here from legal states as the price drops so low its not worth the hassle of growing. Breeding, clones, sog and mother plants become near impossible at low numbers as does pheno hunting and reg seeds. Im glad some of you live in nice areas but kids here smoke cheese then go comit crime so when it drops to the £3 a gram and under mark you gonna need twice the numbers of police in my areas. People will not respect it and smoke themselves into mental problems.

I understand your veiws and in a more liberal country like Denmark or Norway id support you but here all thats gonna happen is going to restrict and take this thing away from us. Technically legal is not free market or free so im anti anyone who restricts it in anyway.

Weird that a med grower and smoker would be firmly on the against side but the juice aint worth the squeeze going legal.

Its not the growers who are the majority voters, its the non growing smokers and all they want is access not rights and will accept legal weed even if it heavily ifringes growers.

Im on growers sides and fuck everyone else, peace of mind would be great but not giving it all over for some cheap deal that is far from what we have in mind.

I see your opinions also, but that’s it, it’s opinion based, you don’t know how it will work in this country, and also what big companies are going to supply? As there isn’t any exsisting companies In this country anyway, there are plenty of states in America whom buy weed from home growers, as there is in Europe also, don’t get me wrong I do see your point and to be totally honest I don’t disagree with you, but I don’t think it will end up working out that way imo, we can all dream of a free trade cannabis scene dude.

Happy plants = Happy me!

The is my 3rd grow now, and I think I'm starting to get 'dialed in' with regards to feeding schedule, temps/rh (I never follow the bottle) I always feed too lower and I've been working on reading the plants to see what they need/don't need.
With these I'm cutting the N back on the next couple of feeds, as I think they're quite dark at the moment.

Plus this is my first grow with my DIY led lights, so I'm hoping they perform well. I'll be happy with anything over 10oz from all of this!
They look lovely man but a bit blue and N heavy, N can inhibit flower sets, not too bad on seed grown weed but finicky clone onlies can lose yield if they’re N heavy in early flower, ime

If it becomes legal and if the big companies offer a product that the majority of smokers would approve of (I'm not sure how well that product would be received to be honest). Surely there would still be a strong market in connoisseur/high end products (all organic for example). Plus, I'm sure there would be markets for specialist hash, extracts, charas, CBD products, vape (etc) that smaller growers could focus on. If it became legal in the UK I'm sure they might follow a similar example to Holland. So perhaps selling direct to coffee shops is a possibility. Or maybe setting up small conglomerates or organise grow unions (with coffee shop outlets).
Ok, so we don't know what way it will be offered (if legalised) but surely there would be strong specialist markets that would offer profit for focused small time growers (or unions of growers).
I have a dream! ;)

The exsisting companies are the ones that recently came over here to lobby the goverment and other businesses. They are ready for a swift takeover, a lots passed through the news recently when they tried to restart the debate.

Tha sad part is that i know exactly how it will go.

The Uk goverment was not even intrested in the tax revenues legalization will generate. This was imo the main selling point that finally saw legality in many broke American states.

Yeah this particular government wasn’t interested in the tax to be generated as it won’t be used to pay the elite they support, I still can’t agree with ‘you know exactly how it will go’ as let’s be honest, you don’t,

The government are corrupt as fuck. If they think they will make a load of money out of legalisation they will do. If they don’t they will not. It’s all about money not what’s ethical to them. Cigarettes kills people and you can still buy the over the counter because of the money they earn of. Alcohol kills people and is as much of a drug as cannabis if not worse as it’s man made and they still allow it. Their the biggest dealers of all its all about money!

Yup agreed, but if weed becomes legal I don’t see the tories doing it as we know there stance, and if they were the ones that would allow it (which I doubt) then yeah we’re fucked, I just don’t think it will be.

We'll need a Corbyn lead government before it's even seriously considered

Id recommend Yoga.
It fixed my back problems like nothing else.
It's not a one time deal however, it is something that has to be maintained, but even just 15-20mins daily can be greatly beneficial.

as mentioned, Yoga. Specifically learn 'cat' and 'cow' postures (dog also) - you can get the idea from a youtube search (saves on yoga lessons too ;)
https://www.everydayhealth.com/back-pain-pictures/best-yoga-poses-to-soothe-back-pain.aspx

Even more important, look into the Alexander Technique (think of it as the psychiatry of posture :)
I find most people have the root cause of their back pain in posture (long term bad posture). The techniques AT do for back pain relief are very good (imo). Search for them on YouTube, my favourite involves straightening the spine while lying on the floor (by placing books under the head until a straight spine occurs - which causes most back pains to subside).

Go to a good chiropractor. I train a lot and get back problems sometime. I go to the chiro and usually the pains gone by the next day.
