U'Moles/Micromoles/Blah! !

Hey everyone.. idk wtf is going on but is PPM the same as U'Moles.. I see everyone talking about the #'s should be1000' to 1500' but that's not Umole's is it..? I got a nice PPFD reader that I bought just to check but can't get the U'mole's part above 600' no matter how close the reader is to the light.. fml! Any input helps) cool) and I'm using nice 1000'watt DE's.. my plants are always good but when I put that Reader up it said around 220' like wtf...

PPM is parts per million of minerals in water or a solution. It is another way to measure ec or electrical conductivity.

The other anagrams you mention are measurements of photons. Light.

Yea nah I know that part.. but I'm talking about how everyone is talking about Par Reading is supposed to be around 1200-1500' and when I put my reader next to the top buds it's only at 300'ish like wth.. thanks for replying and fuck! Basically do you know what Lux or uMole is ambient? Everyone says 1200 to 1500 and 1500ppm which is the co2..

Where I live, my meter says that direct sunlight maxes at approx. 2200 umoles. For indoor grows anything over 800 will give you good results. The 1200-1500 range doesn't give you much improvement unless you're pumping the room full of CO2.

Yea dammm! See that's what I'm saying! My dam brand new reader is saying under my 1'k watt DE's about 2feet below is only 300umoles! What I'm trying to figure out isssss it u'moles that's supposed to be 1200 to 1500 like how you said or is it LUX that your reading that high or wth is going on.. fuck! This doesn't make sense at all.. even when I put the reader allll the way up to the light it's only at like 1500' and there's no way the lights have to be that close to get this ambient # all is saying is for best!

But let me check tho on the lux.. problem w/that is some lights "lux" be high and the micromoles don't ratio the same from light to light.. so technically ya can't or Shouldn't even bother looking/checking lux/fc/par.. you should Only check for micromoles/umoles.. and that's why I'm looking like wth.. is everyone else really getting 1200/1500 u'moles and I'm down to 300'.. haha or are ya'll talking about Lux is 1500'..
