under desk CFL grow

just a project to get some basic knowledge down on growing, im keeping it under my desk in my dorm room. I'm not expecting a whole lot for yield, and know that its a very primitave setup
-1-42 watt CFL
-seeds form random bag
-constant fanning
-both are 3 weeks old
if you got any input on cheap and simple ways to improve the grow let me know. I plan on getting another cfl when I introduce 12/12.

it needs more light

most people here are going to tell you that they need more light, and get them as close as you can!

The wood stake you have their is a prime spot for mold to grow from. Id be carefull and think about other options.

Get more lights, and keep them as close as you can to the tops of the plant without burning them. The plant looks good, but it also looks like it has stretched alittle to get to the light. Just add a few more lights and keep them close.
