ok, so, i was hunting around in my garage for white paint ( literally nowhere around here sells space blankets, or anything with mylar ), and i came across some space-age looking underlay.
This stuff is made of polystyrene and some sort of foil ( some mylar fingers crossed! ), there was no information on it on the box, and none on their website. Would this be suitable to cover my area with? the foil is on a polystyrene back-plate, so it shouldn't crinkle and produce heat spots. I think it could work, but i would like some opinions from the pros
on second thoughts, any ideas on the safety of this? would it be feasible to put lights close to polystyrene without my house burning down over night?
