Unemployed and high.

I'm recently unemployed, so I'm taking Katt Williams advice.

"If you ain't got no job, and you not smoking weed, I don't know what the fuck you are doing with your life."

So where should I get a job? For some perverse reason, I want to be a Jimmy John's delivery driver. The idea of getting paid to drive around quickly has its appeal. Read the first chapter of Snow Crash, you'll know what I mean.

Or maybe I should just freelance it. Hit up all the garage sales and craiglist deals and sell them on eBay. Yeah, that sounds fun.

WHy not be a truck driver. I can guarantee you the pay is MUCH better then delivering pizzas

do what I do, apply for social assistance, max out the amount of rent and voila you get a fat cheque every month. I get $720 a month for fuck all from the provincial government. Only thing is you're going to need an excuse to get on it.

Start cutting grass and shoveling driveways. With a car you could hit the whole city. Get into landscaping next summer, BIG money in that

You're lucky you live in a modern country. Here, deep in Red State territory, social assistance takes months to process, and I may not even get any.

Cutting grass sounds too monotonous for my mind. Have to have some mental activity.

Kind of a problem. I'm unemployed right now....and have been leaning heavily on as many drugs and as much alchol as possible to get through the boring ass days. Then, I'm going to have to take a drug test when I get an offer, that one will be interesting.

Took the ol' lady 3 years to get a job. I've had several offers but no one wants to cough up a salary, commission only, and I can't do that, so I'll just keep up the work finding one.

yea theres so many bull shit jobs. Twice I signed up to "sales representative" only to get to the interview and find out its all door to door selling shit. I don't feel like being told to piss off for 8 hours and get paid jack shit

The government liquor mart is hiring for holidays now though so hopefully I'll get a call back on the 3 closest ones I applied to

This also depends on where you live, how employment opportunity is, etc.
Not everywhere is hiring.
Hell - try coming to the Valley in California, you'll find a dead-hooker on 9th street before you do a job.
Be happy if you live somewhere not effected by the downed-economy.

... If you don't plan to work the state, you can always grow with your spare time.
It'll quickly become your "job."

Better yet, "career."

agree 100% and the same can be said of florida, if you don't wanna "serve" then you are SOL...there's only one thing i serve

sums up what i'm going through exactly...didn't expect it to be quite like this.

If you want a decent paying job I'd quit smoking right now so you don't get denied due to a failed drug test.

Years ago I was unemployed for around six months. Quit smoking the day I was laid off, then found a job I liked that paid decent and passed the test no problem.

Working and making a good living is more important than getting high. If the only testing is for the initial employment screening, then you can have the best of both worlds after getting hired
