unidentified bugs - not gnats or mites

can anyone identifie these uninvited visitors?

i found 2 and killed them then 5 days later i found 4 on the floor to which i showed no mercy.

they dont look like they could damage my plants but i dont want them all up on my buds dieng and moulding into them lol

thanks for any help/advise

do they jump, fly or crawl? are they hard or soft bodied? ehat part of the world are you in?

they fly they have wings like ladybugs

there small and pathetic so they crush easy but they do have a slight shell

as you can see from the pics there shell almost looks like a seed, and im from england

aww... i had an idea until you said you are from england around here i would say it was a leaf hopper. but i dontknow what bugs are in your area. catch one and put it in a sandwich bag and take it to a local nursery, they should be able to id it.

mmm i dont no what to think i dont no if there breeding or not but as i found more after the first 2 that makes me think they must be

and if they are in there they must be eating something. whether its leaves or other bugs, i dont know. a nursery should be able to id it pretty quickly.

They are voracious little monsters and will eat anything animal or plant based.

+1 on carpet beetles. thats exactly what it is 100%. just kill them. ive had a few in my closet they dont harm the plants but i kill them and dont see them anymore. w

Thanks. This helped me out too because I had what looked pretty close to same thing as yours Killer Vanilla, on my plant. I had 2 of them. I killed the first one and came back a few hours later and there was another one. So I killed that one too. I just hope that no more appear.
