the guy sells him a 50 dollar set of fox farm nutes and tells him dont pay attention to the ph because it wont be neccessary anymore. he didnt even know what type of water he uses? wtf...
anyhow guy walks out without the ph and and tester but he got some nutes and a scope for 3x the price.
that got to me and ever since i have been back a few more times and everytime shit happens like that. i have more stories like that...
one incident happened to me but i had my cash replaced by jeff so nothing causing personal bias there.
your claims are way off. i simply dont like what i see everytime i go to the store. its poorly run imo and i spoke my thoughts. this is a public forum so im allowed to do it.
im sure you dont go there for advise but trust me alot of people do. and they take these peoples suggestions.
I had to laugh a little when reading this thread,"great, my first post". I'd agree that it sucks if the store personal are not knowledgeable, or don't direct you to the one person who is, or just flat out admit they don't know.
Well run stores are always a joy. I know their prices are higher than online(was "higher than mail order" in the day), but here is convenience, timeliness, money to the community, helping the business stay open to continue that pattern.
IMO, anyone serious about their grow should own at least TWO ph testers(for checking against each other, averaging, etc.) And having and understanding methods for adjusting your medium's ph is pretty crucial. *I personally use white vinegar for small changes down, tiny amounts of muriatic acid for larger changes....both are cheap and work great.
What I don't understand is why rzza keeps going back there if it sucks so badly in his opinion. Like some dude complaining about his girlfriend all the time but not being able to just break up.
