Sorry this is just real urgent so I have to make a new thread about it

This is what the summary of the letter I just fucking got said from the United States Postal services, I just destroyed all of my growing equipment, (over 2 grand worth) told my wife to leave the house, she's going to stay with a friend somewhere else so she can't get pinned with anything, and am trying to find a place to store nearly 3 pounds of herb. I'm freaking the fuck out, can the DEA or whoever would come in my houe be able to tell that I was growing marijuana? ALL THE EQUIPMENT IS DESTROYED. I'm getting everything illegal out of my house, I had 5 plants that I just recently harvested, I'll post a pic in a second, what should I do as of right now?!?!
I cannot go back to jail fucking A, this is bad bad news, what's going to happen to me

And I am destroying my laptop that I used for the Bitcoins and everythign so they HAVE NO PROOF AT ALL when and if they do raid my house.

Am I leaving anything out??

Anything else I should do to cover my tracks??

Would you rather risk another situation like this or invest sometime finding a solid connect you can deal with face to face? Thats a no brainier to me.

The records they search for aren't physically stored on your cellphone. I would definitely do a factory reset on it and reformat your sd card though. As for the pot, man Id give it to a close friend or dig a hole and bury it in the woods somewhere. Like everyone else has told you, DENY DENY DENY! Your most certainly going to be watched now, just walk the straight and narrow for a while.

if they wanted to arrest you with it they wouldn't have sent a letter IMO.

Clean house and contact a lawyer dude. You're going to need one and it's better to get one before you get arrested. If nothing else you get processed and released A LOT faster. I don't know about you but I assign a pretty high value to anything that keeps me in a cage for one minute less. The NORML website has listings of attorneys who specialize in pot, call some and ask about mail order. You tell them you got the letter and ask if they have experience etc, etc. Your local bar association can also recommend lawyers for you. I'm betting defense attorney for mid level drug offenses is even a category they have.

While I do think that the chances of a knock are low I would still clean house. They could just be watching. Depends on the area I guess. A half pound would get my door kicked in I'm sure.

Clean your house,don't be stupid and destroy a perfectly good computer.destroying the equipment was bad enough...settle down and BREATH..THINK RATIONALLY..take the herb,computer,equipment(god I hope you didn't destroy good equipment,I have a dear friend who needs equipment..what a waste)cellphone(you should be ashamed for not having a prepaid),and any incriminating items(be thorough,the dogs are gonna come and find that nugget you dropped in the sofa)..and move it ALL IN ONE MOVE..not back and forth..find a friend,a relative,an abandoned house in the woods..somewhere safe..and hide it...
I learned the hard way to call the man back..I didn't give my dad the investigators card when I got caught breaking into a house(I was 11 and skipping school)..3 months later I got the summons..dad was pissed and I found out the cop and the people I robbed were gonna come to terms with my dad IF I had got dad to call the cop..so,after you're clean and square with your house,set down with a pen and a piece of paper and call the post man..now,the pen and paper are for you to recollect questions answered and what time..when that guy gives you a mensa test on your life,and he will,write the questions down and the answers you give him also,plus the time,and dates if you gotta call more than once..have your alibi ready,or at least a short wersion of it..'im a hardworking citizen and am appaled someones sending drugs to my house..do you think this could happen again?should I get security cameras? Does this happen a lot? As I'm guessing you don't live in a med state and had this shipped intranationally I would def take some time to calm down. Cover your shit obviously but as long as you make sure your ass is covered you should only be out money. Money aint shit compared to freedom. Maybe I'm being optimistic but I really think if they were coming for you, your door would already have been battering rammed in. The burden of proof is on the police, make them earn it.

Dude this may sound a little bit harsh but I think you need to fucking hear it. Between the thread about too much Molly and now this whole incident regarding shipping cannabis question I really think you need to ask yourself if saving your marriage and getting control of your life is really a priority. That's not to say its not a priority, but your actions are speaking much louder terms to the contrary. Again, trying helpful not trying to be a dick, I'm currently dealing with bullshit I put off. luckily its just finances but if id been on top of my shiit, i wouldnt be dealing with this nonsense myself. But we reap what we sow, and you just seem to keep sowing shit ceeds in your life.

More likely than not, this will be a no big deal situation. I wouldn't have gone on nuclear to destroy everything, I would have gotten everything out of there whether to a friends or relatives house or simply a storage locker under someone else's name. If they really want to arrest you they were already done it.

Let this be a fucking wake up call if nothing else has been. Make sure you have a good story, you stick to your story, you do not deviate from your story. Lying to a post office official is a federal crime so is shipping drugs in the mail. Hopefully your sender used common sense and hasn't been using the same shipping addresses and names to send to you. You do know the post office has a database of every single piece of mail it goes through the system, and they can/will use it. Don't avoid calling the post office official, get in touch, play stupid, stick to your fucking script.
