Yeah Ad-Aware by Lavasoft still has a free version:

yeah, I just googled adaware and saw that they have a free version again...felt kinda silly...they did stop the free on for a while...or at least stopped updating it...there was a way to get the update for the pay version and apply it...tried it once and it was a hassle. The Norton I have is supposed to do all this...I suspect it does next to nothing.

I was just curious not mad about it my connection is at 50 megs download and 20 upload so speed isnt and issue I run dual quad 6 gig processors with 8 gigs ram so im fine on that. It just fills up so much space when looking at them and if you upload the direct site way meaning choose advance then browse your pictures it puts them as smaller thumbs next to each other then you just roll over each picture and it opens it to whatever size you had the original image. this way I can see 10 pictures in a row then roll over each and enlarge no need to keep scrolling. When i say resize i dont mean resolution i mean pixel size it can be as big and clear as the ones you got but uses a thumbnail medium to let you see them all before rolling over and enlargeing.. Heres what i mean heres a few of some sweet purple week 1 done flowering..Shows little thumbs then opens to larger. i keep them realitive size so they fit nicely on the screen...oh and when i said photbucket scans i mean they go through your files looking for things that maybe illegal. Things like porn types, child porn, grow ops meth lab pictures. they report tha and depedning how you signed up most people dont use enough proxies and fake emails made via rolling proxies so your ip is logged and shows rightb where your computer is at soo not good

and if you want the same pic on another thread you just upload it again?

yup gypsy..You write your responce then instead of post click Go Advance and then manage then browse to your pictures. If you want to size them or make the file smaller and quicker for windows xp or lower get Microsoft power tools resizer google it its free tools for vista google VSO image resizer its free too

But let's say I have a pic in my journal... and I load it as you just said (which is what I do in my journal)

now if I want that picture over here, you are telling me to upload it again... on my post here.. right...

Wouldn't that mean that I am now taking 2x the memory from RIU for the same photo...

Like if I post the photo your way, in 4 journals, I uploaded the same image 4 times...

right?!?...

Now.. the way I do it...

I upload just like you said, on my journal... ONCE...

and then I just link to that same image on as many posts as I want,

but I am only using the memory for the original upload..

does that make any sense..?

I could be wrong... but it seems uploading the same picture over and over would use up more of RIU's memory faster...

Gyp its actually not doubleing the space. See with html web display coding your telling the page how to link to a picture which the syetem write automatically so if you have a picture named picture.jpg and you upload that to the server its there so now lets say you fo to a new thread thats a new html page so you fill in your post then go get picture.jpg from your dribe and upload that. That file is already there but the new thread was told by the system to use that image in the new thread laid out in the forums prefered layout so your basically just pointing the code to the same image on the server unless you rename the picture on your drive each upload..me I do some web design as a side business so i hate unneeded scrolling and giant pictures that are automatically full sized just annoy me since its more scrolling. if you have 5 smaller thumbs to see all 5 then can choose to see it bigger if you want is just nice and user friendly

But not everyone does... and I guess it's not fair to MAKE someone PAY to see a picture they may not want to...

then I got to the other thread where I want the same picture... and I do the same thing...

And you are telling me that the internet can tell that that is the same "picture 1.jpg" that was loaded elsewhere?

how would it differentiate my "picture 1.jpg" from Nelson's "pictute 1.jpg"??

Looking good man - are they really only 1 month old (like the one in pic 2)? They look really tall already to me, especially considering they look Indica'ish... Or maybe I'm just half asleep right now. Either way, they look good to me.

This strain is actually a very hardy Sativa that has been kept around by the hippies up here in AK...

I hear stories from the old farts of them growing the same strain back in the late 60's...

It's pretty forgiving and a good yielder...so it's just been passed around in clone form... without a name... for generations now..

It was the first strain I grew in my Aerogarden...

Do you remember that grow?

yes they are really only 1 month and all the same age at that (even # 2... go figure, lol)
and no ur not just sleepy, your spot on. I was told they are indicas and i was thinking theyre getting kinda tall.. hope theyr not stretching for light.. but i also hope they turn into big ass trees haha.
