Thanks everyone for the feedback. I cannot be more thrilled myself on their progress. They still have a few more weeks.

Don't really see any ambers on them. I want them to go to about 50/50 amber/cloudy.

Hey Btt,
Pardon me for being critical when all others are showering you with accolades, but it appears to me that your plants are starving for nutes, at least wanting more than they are getting. The yellowing of the main stem fan leaves means that the plant is sucking all of the stored nutes from those leaves, and if it goes all the way to the top bud, and only on Day 51, then I read it as a deficiency. Now maybe the nutes are in there, and unavailable to the plant, likely due to a pH problem, it's hard to tell.

And it's probably too late in life to improve those plants much, but for future crops, you'll know what to look for, and can correct it sooner.

Have a great harvest, those plants will reward you many times.

Plants were chopped at 9 weeks into 12/12 which was last Thursday.

App. ~ 40 grams Total Yield

Will get some harvest pics up sooner or later, on a buddy's digi.

Now in jars for curing. MMMmmmm so delicious.

Potroast,

Just curious. I thought it was normal to have your fan leaves turn yellow towards the end of flowering. The last 4-5 days all of mine did, but I did switch to pure water at that point. Do you believe there is a connection? Am I wrong in that the fan leaves will always turn yellow the last few days?

Thanks,

btt, I am also doing a pure cfl grow with bagseed. Hope mine turns out well like yours. First time, so wanted to start out simple. What size pots were you using in your grow? At what age did you start lst? How many plants was it that got you about 40 grams?

Thanks a ton.

Started with 4.5" pots. Transplanted to 1 gallon.

LST started around day 17-18 Veg.

4 plants yielded 40 grams.

Awesome grow, btt. Helluva accomplishment to have them turn out so juicy looking. I'm at about 30 days and mine look nothing like yours, although I'm seeing buds exploding all over my 2 girls. Hopefully in another week or 2 mine will fill out like yours. Great job. Make sure to let us know how it smokes.

NGTYBEAR,

No I did not weigh it all when it was wet. I did throw on one of the main colas just to see and it was about ~ 15 grams wet. Now dry is about ~ 5 grams.

Smokes pretty good now, even though I shouldn't be dippin in my stash so early. Tryin to hold off for a few weeks so it will be nice and tasty!

BTT, this is great to hear. I have mine drying right now. Harvested last Friday. It was right about 100g wet and trimmed. I would be happy with 35g dry. ;) I actually took a couple of bottom buds and smoked them the day of harvest. I expected it to be harsh as hell green, but it was sooo smooth. I am looking forward to rasting it dry and cured.

I am thinking about curing come of it in my humidor (for cigars). It stays at a steady 70%. I need to make sure it is dry enough before putting it in. It would be sad to get mold in there.

I say Hurrah for BTT and CFLs !
