Hey guys,

A couple of you commented on my last thread and I wanted to update you with the progress!
These girls are on day 39 and blooming nicely! My lights weren't so great from the start so I'm not expecting amazing results with this batch, but this is my first grow and I'm learning a LOT from it!

Strains:
DNA Genetics - 60 day Lemon Auto
Buddha Seeds - 60 day auto Royal Purple Kush

The pic with the browning leave - I believe this is either due to too much nutrients ( I was stupid and gave nutrients every water for 5-6 waters) OR related to the pH of my water.

My plants grow under 24/0 light.
Lights: 6 cfls totalling 140W and 2 tube fluorescents totalling 65 watts. I currently have the long 4 ft fixture with my two long fluo's blasting from the top and was wondering if it would be better to blast them from the side and rotating every 12 hours?

Any advice is appreciated!!

THanks man! I'm still wondering what the brown spots on the leaves are... Only the lemon auto is affected. I tested the pH and it's sitting around 6.6-6.8.. maybe manganese/potassium deficiency?

Those plants look awesome. If it's just one leaf that's got the spots . . . any chance you may have inadvertently spilled water/nutes on it? Just a thought.

Hey - I had brown spots on some purple kush. Tried everything but it was just genetics. I had a bunch of plants and played with diff amounts of nutes on them but all the same in regards to spots. I was like a frickin' scientist at one point but nada. My next grow with different strain - same kind of dirt, pots, light, fan, you name it - all the same, and leaves are perfect in every way. So don't beat urself up - maybe not your fault at all.

thank you! I actually picked up some pH strips and my post-water soil pH was reallly low around 6. I believe its because of the high amount of nutrients I fed them.. one of the plants(lemon haze) has brown spots and the Purple Kush plant doesn't have any! Will post new pics soon. The buds are getting right big and juicy!!

Yeah dont listen to people when they tell you that you need a certain amount of watts...all that really matters is kelvin temp. ..and how you distribute your light....i have 10 lights that total 260 watts i believe and this is northern lights auto in beginning of week 6 View attachment 2881389
