So i'm in my 2nd week flowering and i'm going to be upgrading to a 600w HPS light. Is it likely that my yield will increase much in the end or not?

i got about 100g off my last crop and that was one big plant that i'd vegged for about 5 months. the same again here, but only difference is the node spacing is MUCH tighter where as the other was a skinny bitch and stretched, not to forget the fact the light killed the top part of the buds half way through growing.. that reduced some more of the crop.

what you think then? :)

i run a 600 lumatek with dual spec bulb, i grow 12-12 from seed, in coco, hesi feed, 2-3 oz dry per plant..got 10 plants under at different stages at mo in a 4 x 3 1/2 foot space

so you think you'll get around 20-30oz? thats mad just getting 2-3 oz per plant! so i could find myself getting a rewarding yield from this? i'm using bio bloom and topmax. also have some superthrive :) im growing in a 1 x 1 metre wide x 2 metre tall tent. so i could get at least 300g off this then?

mine are perpetual so never cropped all at once and helps with crowding but yeah id say its def possible, i only got 5ft height in my cab so you will be fine with yours, chuck you a pic up later, got a diamond reflector at mo...ever thought of using coco?

Yeah, your grows have inspired me. might start a few lemon skunk and white widow off 3 weeks before i crop this lot - 12/12 from seed!

Since ive seen your grows i've thought of using coco. Is it any harder than growing in soil? just worried about keeping the PH spot on though

coco is easy mate, i just keep the between ph 5.5 and 6.5....... its not rocket science.
so as long as its between 5.5 and 6.5 i'll have no problems? i'm using .1ml or phosphoric acid to bring the water down from 7.4 to about 6.5.. would i be able to use phosphoric acid with coco?

whats your feeding schedule like? i know you use tnt complex, but is there any nutes you use for a certain period and use others to finish budding off with?

yeah mate you can use the sam ph down, i use tnt cause even though i stick my plants straight on 12-12 they still are in veg til i see flowers, then when i see flowers i switch to the orange bottle ....pk 13/14 is handy during flowering too or better still hammer head 4-8..:weed:

Brilliant! just a quick question.. in my current grow, im flowering and getting some problems with green/yellow leaves near the top. i've sorted out the ph - which was a problem.. and now i'm down to about 6.5ish. i'm using biobloom and topmax which should have enough nutes in right? but i was just wondering if it'd hurt to add a bit of hesi to the mix each time for 3-4 feeds? the plant seems to only need to be fed 2-3 times a week though and is in 3rd week flowering today.

Cheers for all the tips mate.. am hoping to get my 600w soon - cant wait!

perpetual means i add plants to the cab as i go so ithat im never far from cropping something rather than all at once....., your in soil so yes you could add hesi tnt....think with biobloom you still have to add bioveg through flower.... not bleaching from being close to light? lack of nitrogen hits the lower fans first.

hmmm, might have to eventually invest in another tent to set something like that up soon! and you say putting plants in at different stages could be a problem due to humidity.. surely theyre all in at 12/12 so humidity needs to be the same, or am i wrong here? i thought it might have been light bleaching but its the whole leave that's like this. will try and get a picture up mate. how much hesi should i add to the feed next time i do this then? on the bottle it says 50ml/10L water. should i do the full dosage, or just half?

i use hesi at 5ml a litre mate, throw some pics up though, best to see whats going on.......humidity can be a problem cause although they are all on 12-12 they arent all actually in flower. some plants dont start for 4 weeks so humidity could be a problem...........only had budrot last time though and think its cause i used far to much pk............

im in 3rd week flowering... if i used 5ml a litre for a couple of weeks would it be a good idea to continue using throughout the whole of the flowering with a reduced dosage.. say 3-4ml a litre?

Heres a few pics...

the problems dont seem too severe to me but sure are gona affect the yield :( the PH is fine but i cant see why it'd be a deficiency as ive never had problems with these nutes! Might add some superthrive to the next feed actually.

the ph coming out tells you whats going on in the soil , soil tends to become acidic over time and can lock out nutes........ you always used bio?
