Upstate NY arjans haze #3 dilemma

Hey everyone. I'll get right to the point.
So, I started a batch of arjans haze 3 around 5 weeks ago and they are about 3 feet high (still vegging). I was planning on having it be just an indoor grow but plans changed, and I gotta be out of the apartment soon and must move them outside for the summer. The problem is that its a sativa needing at least 10 weeks to flower. Being in NY, I'm afraid it won't have enough time to finish flowering.
My question is, will I need to force it into flowering a little early (doing the ever so annoying box covering and uncovering method) so it has a few extra weeks to flower? Or do you guys think it will finish in time on its own?

Thanks,
-UP

uhhh yeah man you know what youu should do is like put her in 12/12 inside to get her started on flowering, then place her outside and she will probably continue to flower. How many hours of daylight u get over there.

thing is though they are already in the ground
hmmm im not really sure than... I don't think they are going to make a box big enough to sex that thing before hand outdoors so you could get a head start... by the end of the year that plant is going to be bigger than normal christmas trees. I'll go surf the web for a minute for ya if I find anything ill post back.

EDIT:

Every site I have ran into says that in the Northern Hemisphere it should be done by mid october.... im pretty sure it will be alright by mid october if you just leave it bro.

Damn man, what am I doing wrong? I hear about all these people with five week old, three foot tall plants....I don't think I've ever broken a foot in a month.

Oh well..

Haha don't worry you aren't going slow, I had started these indoors first so they had alot of light every day.

Yeah i see it says mid october, but that is for all of north america, and NY is alot different weather than south from here.

you could try diggin it up and potting it in some sort of container then move it to a place that gets sun only half the day. id imagine once it becomes rootbound in the container, start givin it bloom nutes and it should flower, as long as its getting shaded for part of the day? ive accidentally put plants in a partially shaded area and they flowered atleast a month or two before everything else i had out! you might have a hell of a time forcin a haze dominant strain to flower tho?

only other thing i can think of is ya just cross your fingers and hope we have an unusually good fall? i remember in 2006, i was paintin houses outside until the end of december, and it was still almost 40! you could get lucky?

It must be the shite weather we get over here lol, like its nearly pissed solid for the last month or so. Still i repotted my skunk there the other week and she doesnt seem to be bothered by it, i hope the rain clears up tho, fingers crossed lads!

I too am growing arjans haze 3. This is my first grow ever. i started with 5 feminized seeds and only three made it through. i started with an indoor grow till they were about 15 inches tall and then transplanted them on the side of a lake (hoping they would feed themselves off the water table) so far they have thrived, other then that they have climbed super tall for light (i checked on them a week ago and other plants had grown huge around them so had to do some pruning). i have only checked on them twice in the last 3 months, just throwing down some slow release fertilizer and making sure i give them a good bonus watering everytime. I am in the northwest, if that helps, on vancouver island. My hope is that they will have time to develop.... one was 11ft, another 10 ft and another 6 feet when i last checked but they are not very wide... or budding yet but im hoping harvesting in mid october will allow enough time. they were in the ground may 19th... probably fucked them up haha any advice?
