Hi,
I need help with my room please, I need someone to go through what I have provided and with their experience tell me what the problem is.. plants are 2.5 weeks in and moving along slowly.. been growing for about 3 years but had some breaks.. I have put so much effort into this bloody room but just keep getting knocked down with it, thought I knew what I was doing but obviously not.
This is a new room.. started another grow before this one in this room with a similar setup but heat was an issue so I ditched the grow.. was running cool tubes but didn’t work very well.. chiller wasn’t chilling water either so bought a bigger one..
My issue is the plants are growing very slowly.. the roots are growing hell slow down into the water.. and the plants are growing different rates..
There are couple of things I think it may be but really have absolutely no idea and it’s doing my head in.
I used to grow 1 plant per light, the plant being directly under the light and they took off, now I changed to two per light, so outside half of plant is in the shade if you know what I mean.. maybe I need to go back to one plant directly in the center?
Other grows in previous room I was using a window/wall a/c which in the manual said it brought in 20% fresh air so that was my way of getting co2 into the room.. this one I had split a/c installed so hooked up intake/outtake to replenish co2.. comes on for 5mins every two hours.. maybe should be more often but the plants are so small at the moment didn’t think it would matter at this stage..
At the moment the new bigger chiller I bought is off, as it isn’t chilling the water.. I think the problem there is that because the majority of water is sitting in the grow room waiting for gravity to take it back to the res, the water is just going back to room temp.. so probably have to speed up the reticulation system for it to work better.. at the moment I have room at 24 cel (75 fah).. I know it should be bit higher but just found a median to keep the water cool enough as well..
Honestly at 2.5 weeks in plants should be huge by now

Bulbs are new
Not many roots growing into water.. especially those smaller plants, only have 2 or 3 down into the water.
Absolutely no light leaks
Checked each top feed system and water is trickling down through medium into each bucket nicely and plently of bubbles..
The plants that are their look very healthy no nute burn whatsoever..
Honestly only thing I truly think it might be is co2, but even then I do have the intake/outake coming on and off every two hours.. can’t see it being because water temp is room temp.
