got it. do you only adjust pH once a day?

like i said, i let it float around. if you look at a pH chart, you'll see nutes are better "used" at different pH #s.
Yeah I just feed once a day and I hand feed so I adjust the PH and then feed them dude :)

i assume your pH meter is calibrated?

if not bugs, not pH, then there could be root issues.

i'm still fairly new to coco but the last 2 grows, i've had to stop using good bacteria and switch over to pool shock to fix issues that nothing else seemed to fix.
Yeah dude it's calibrated. I know I've got springtails in my coco. Maybe they could be causing the root issues?

from what i know about themm, i think they actually eat any root rot if you have some.

the more things you can rule out , you'll eventually figure out the problem(s) though.

I love springtails, I've had them the last few grows and they seem to just do there own thing without affecting the plant. I looked online and it says brown/black spots on leaves could indicate a Potassium deficiency? And it would seem that a PH of 6.5 would help the plant to absorb more potassium?

Thanks dude, I tried to raise my EC and it burnt the plants up so I'm not sure what to do
I wouldn't suggest for someone to rely on waste readings, though have you checked the waste EC once off?
Don't start chasing waste numbers and all that. Waste of time. Especially pH.
But checking the waste EC may indicate whether you're overfeeding, or not.
If it's way high, well...

1.0 EC isn't very much at all.

I managed to fix my Nutrient burn issue by lowering the EC.
The EC is coming out at 0.5 EC and going in at 1.0 EC which is strange to me because it's usually around the same as the the feed that's going into the top of the plant pot

Next-time you feed. Feed at 1.0EC until the waste reads the same as your input. See how it goes from there.

It's impossible for me to feed more than once a day, due to the fact I have lots of other work to do, but I'm going to get an irrigation system soon and start feeding multiple times a day, I've just got to save up a bit of cash first
I reckon you're on the right track there.
Might be drying up just a bit much between.
Run more waste when you feed until you get your watering system.
