USB Microscope Project

Wasn't sure where to put this thread but it's most relevant in this forum I think since it's most useful for looking at trichomes.

im getting one really soon!! those little 60x led scopes make my eyes hurt and give me headaches.

You can take snapshots with Carson too... its all pc based.

I prefer the x60 zoom over 35x and I already have an older webcam doing nothing but collecting dust. I also have one of the microscopes pictured in the tutorial. The tools I already have and the time it take would be like an hour. Also, this would take snapshots and video assuming the webcam you use cost more than $1.

So while I'm glad you're of the "yeah screw that" mentality not everyone is and some like myself like to, and take pride in, fabricating gear for our grows.

Nice avatar and 8 posts though. Glad 2 of those 8 were spent here...

Very cool any pics yet? Might have to try it if I can find a free camera lol.
