Used Wrong Nutrients, Need Advice

My roomie is taking care of my plants and for the last two weeks he has been giving them Cal-Mag, which is a 2-0-0 supplement instead of the CNS17 Ripe 1-5-4 that I was giving it before. IT was weeks 5-7 of flowering and I'm worried about them but he says they look fine. He fed them with the Ripe nutrients tonight.

Any pieces of advice?

He did u a favor. I feed cal mag the last three or four weeks of flower, the calcium helps strengthen trichomes, thats why u hear people using molasses at the end of flower, all molasses is just a product high in calcium. Plus I cut my Nitrogen down to next to nothing so the calmag gives them that and a needed burst of mg to finish. Also use the ripening, and u will be happy.

Cool thanks Phelps!

Yeah he said that they look great but I was just worried about losing yield because they weren't getting the potassium and phosphorus for those couple weeks. I'm about to flush them when I get back this weekend and harvest the next week...

If anything, I would give them a dose of Phosphorous and Potassium(blooming fert. no nitrogen) and let em eat until harvest day. You will lose yield flushing em out. Marijuana blooms the most the last couple of weeks, and they need them nutes. I have seen way too many people flushing out yield, and its not needed. You will have to fully dry the buds, and cure them.. Afterwards, they will be sweeeeeet and *****Large***** Just throwing in my 2 cents when I see the "flushing" word I usually intervene. Want you to get the most out of all your efforts. Best of luck my friend. CG :weed:
