using air con to supply cold air for lights and intake

would this work?

have one small room with a window a/c..

and have air cooled lights and intake fan pull cool air from this room..

im not talking about a sealed grow.. it would be a standard exhaust/intake system just when outside temps became too warm the ac would be kicked on to provide cool air for the lights and intake to draw from..

it will cool your lights but the radiant heat from lights will still heat room up some so you might need to vent room. i would suggest using a can fan to cool lights by pulling air from outside grow area through the lights the back out side grow so that the air cooling lights dont mix with the air in grow. then seal room air tight and use the window unit to cool room. this will save you electric and dehumidify the room.

the intake would have a damper on it, and the lights would be sealed.. the lights ducting and the intake fan would all pull from this same room... (cooled by the a/c)
im curious how the a/c will deal with cooling a room that is being exhausted continuously..

and in the cold months the a/c could be shut down, vents cut, and pull cold air from outside...

doing it this way you will be venting out the air you just cooled and dehumidied, that air will be replaced do to negative pressure and will need to be cooled/dehumidified. so your ac will never shut of and your electric bill will rise. also the ac might not be able to keep up anyway so you might reach the temp your shooting for. not only that b you would be venting out smells that you would need a carbon filter. ac work best in a closed system so the cool/dehumidify the same air over and over again until the disired temp is reached alowing the ac to turn off. remember a 10000 btu ac uses 1000w per hour when compresure is on. i learned this the hard way
