using companion plants as pest deterrents

Was reading the latest issue of high times and they mentioned dalmatian chrysanthemums being used in the garden. Does anyone know of any other companion plants that can be used like this as pest prevention (spider mite in particular) other than pyrethrum source plants? I think I'm going to put some in my garden and around my house.

i've been interested in this too. i have some spearmint and rosemary growing in the same grow space that i have my girls in. i was having problems with gnats and i noticed a big decrease in them after i put these other plants in there.

Yes!

Companion plants are always wonderful for the Trees and especially in an Organic Grow.

I plant Basil and Mint and Chamomille and also Garlic.

Takes care of everything and enhances the medicine.

Chamomille, will increase the essential oils in anything it is planted with, for the most part.

However, if not growing truly Organic with worms and all the other good stuff, one would need to plant their companions in seperate pots and keep them close to their girls.

Companion Plants all the way....

Blessings,
