Using Nutrients w/ Coco

Hey all, small time reader, first time breeder. Have had a few looks around cant find anything specific so i thought id ask.

When it comes to using coco/perlite as a medium do i need to be using nutrients every water or still include regular water every other water?

I thought you should never run ph'd water only in coco (ruins the buffer?).

Feed every watering, check the run off and adjust feed so your never overfeeding, and won't have a reason to flush midway. If you do over feed and need a flush use a 1/4 strength feed solution
