Using pee for ferts

First I want to say hello to everyone, am new to the community, used to be an overgrow member but stopped my green thumb hobby around 4 years ago and am looking to start back up.

I wanted to know opinions on whether using pee for fert is just as good as using chemical ferts. Is it better since its natural? Does it only carry you so far? How much should I dilute? Can I just get some opinions and experiences.

Well first off welcome to the site!!!!!!!!!!! But I don't know much about using urine for food....I would avoid it and just get some organic nutrients..IMO..

Also it depends on your lifestyle! If your body is very acidic you screw your plants!
Get some organic nutes!!!

ya pee will work if nothing else to use but like tm21thc it depends on your body because all doses of pee are different and can stress your plant so its better to use just regular nutrients.

dude, pissing on your plants is a mistake. lots of people think it works because human urine contains nitrogen, but putting urine in your grow medium will be a way too concentrated amount of nitrogen nd will likely poison your plants. get nutes. urine doesn't contain phosphorus or posassium or any micronutes as far as I'm aware. can't believe you didn't see that weeds episode where they dispelled that myth. read the cannabible. it'll tell you all you need to know. i also recommend george servantess Indoor Marijuana Horticulture. best.

Urine is the waste and crap from your body that you don't need/want. if you don't want/need it, what makes you think your plant will?

Just my opinion though, I didn't think you could grow from roaches either, and fdd proved that wrong.

Piss is high in nitrogen, so it's best for the vegetative phase. Mix it down to 15 parts water, 1 part urine, and if you eat unhealthy like most people on this planet, I'd avoid it.

i personally think it's a stupid idea.

i still don't understand why people want to do this.

did you know you could drink it also? drink it, then see how much you want it in your plants.

Yes, concentrated, which is why you dilute it. Otherwise, you might burn the roots.

I like to have a fresh glass of water, and a potato.

Maybe if I was a freak I would like to drink my own pee.

damnnn i thought we were talking about outdoor backyard weed who wants to play with pee wen they can go buy 3 part nutes for 30 bucks

It's actually healthy as long as you don't burn the roots, because urine has so much disease-fighting enzyme in it. It's like an antibiotic for plants.
