Before I put it in the chamber, it was super gooey. After, its easier to touch and not as sticky. I think it needs to stay in chamber for a little longer in order to get it to a point where I can touch it without sticking. What do you think?

So how would I get this material to become shatter? I know guzias' instructions were to roll it up into a ball, then melt it down at 110 and then bring material to 120 and cut the heat. Do you think im almost at this process where I can roll it up and melt it down for the final stage or purging to get it to honeycomb up?

So I got a new batch and this turned out a lot better.
After I achieved the hard ball after many vacs and devacs, I tried to melt down the ball on top of a heating pad. I turned the pad to the highest setting which typically which is a hundred and twenty degrees. this was unable to melt down the wax so then I took out the griddle then put the chamber on top. Even when the outside of the chamber read 160, the wax still didn't melt fully. Im worried that ill burn the material if I go to high. Do you guys suggest bumping the heat even more if I wanted honeycomb? Melt wax then full vac or full vac while heating?

Imo, it barely melted. At the same time, I tried to melt it down and full vac at the same time so idk if it ever went back to a full sappy consistency.
Am I supposed to melt first, then full vac?

you turn the oven on for 30 min to an hour depending on strain before turning on the vacuum. Then you run it for 36 -72 hours depending on strain.
blasting with co2 or winterizing can create shatter. The downfall to winterizing is that it removes terpenes. Then you lose any medical attributes and flavor. So you want a closed loop system so you can dewax.
Fyi if you are not using a vacuum oven then you are half assing it and not really doing much purging if any.

I have been doing this for about 3 years now, I have dispensaries give me samples of their stuff they have sent off and made from CO2 to shatter and wax and ask my opinion of it, mine.... I have nothing to prove to you, you an arrogant, ignorant, and closed minded individual.
I think there are plenty of people in here that can attest to the fact that I do not give bad advice and I try to help everyone, and I don't ever chastise an individual (unless its oilmkr or finshaggy) I always try to be constructive advice. my inbox is full of people asking me question, so go jump on your anti BHO band wagon and ride the hell out of the BHO related threads. In fact i think you should stay out of the solvent extract threads you have nothing constructive to add all you say is "trash it" "that looks like shit" or "bho is going to kill you" "its never purged" so please move on. BHO is not illegal in CO and it doesn't look like they are going to change it, I see you say that all these shops are replacing all their solvent extracts with bubble not the case here the shops are gearing up to start sending more and more of their finished flower to get blasted as the demand for the oil just goes up...
