Has anyone ordered seeds from VSB?Are they a good place to order from in Canada?How long does it take to get your seeds from them? Thanks.:blsmoke:

never ordered from there. been there. seeds work, not bad ratio of F to M dont know about ordering though.

they've gotten right scheisty since it changed hands, imo.

which is sad because i used to recommend them above kind seed.....

i live on the far end of the valley, so if i come into vancouver after having called a place and had them assure me that they had something in stock and that they were going to put it aside for me, i expect it to BE there.

when i get home without said item and write them an unimpressed email, i don't expect a snarky email from the owner saying it WAS, in fact, in stock, her employee's oversight wasn't her fault nor problem and that it's in stock now so come back to get it before it gets sold again.

edit: although i suppose this isn't a problem you'd encounter ordering online.

Bought from them once late last year. Piss poor germination. Never again.
BTW, the d bags that supposedly "worked" there were useless.
I heard great things about them in the past, but those days are over.

lmao, glad i'm not the only one that thought so!

as to where to order from, kind seed is the only other seed bank i've ever dealt with, and i've never ordered online from them either, so idk.
and i have no idea what the good banks in ontario are...

I know this is an old tread,but for those who might see this in the future,I will tell you of my recent experience with VSB. I placed a small order for 10 seeds on december 5th,2012. They sent me an email telling me they were shipped on Dec. 10th, 2012. I never got them. Oh well. While I was waiting, I placed a second small order,thinking if one got snagged,chances are I'd get the second one.
So after a while,I called VSB just to see what they would say about not getting the first order. As I was looking for their number to call them,I saw they just had emailed me telling me they had shipped my second order.So the woman on the phone tells me they have had a few problems getting orders through to Florida.I asked if I could get a tracking number for future orders,and she told me no,not with regular mail. ( although I get tracking numbers from companies in the UK with regular mail). She then told me they would resend the first order that I never got. I said ''WOW!'' ''THANKS''. Then she told me they would keep sending them until I got them. So it was a pleasant conversation.
So,anyway,I never got any of the 2 orders I placed,nor the one they said they were going to resend. So I happen to be on a youtube page( was not named VSB) about VSB, so I left a comment telling americans not to waste their time or money,and they wouldn't get their order.Within minutes I get a reply from ''Hollyweeds'' telling me they are ''VSB'' and asking me why I am on their youtube page complaining and telling people not to order. I didn't know they were VSB when I left the comments. But I never mentioned the company name,just said don't waste your time.
So this person tells me I didn't get my order because my mailbox is not secure. I asked a half a dozen times what that means,and they never answered me. We exchanged several comments on youtube,and it was like they were a computer,not actually reading the replies I was sending to their questions. They were telling me I was hurting their business,and I am not acting like a normal customer. Just to be clear,let me tell you all,I never once asked for a refund,never once asked them to resend my seeds,and never once told them it was their fault I didn't get their order. They just went crazy and assumed I was blaming them. I sent them 5 or 6 more messages telling them I was not unhappy with them( and a phone call that the guy who answered blew me off and told me to call back),and that I understand how this business works.They kept responding telling me if I had a problem I should call (I did) or email them directly (I did,and they never responded). I was having extreme difficulty communicating with them,like they were a computer program or they didn't read or speak english. I still can't believe it.
So then the woman tell me in a private message on youtube that she was the one I spoke with on the phone Jan 8th,and if I didn't get my order I should have called and told them. She must have a very short memory,because that is exactly what I did Jan.8th, and she personally told me they were going to resend them. So apparently,they never resent them after I called Jan 8th. Now today,Jan 21st and they are telling me they never heard back from me or else they would have resent them. What? Why would I call them back if you told me you were going to resend them.and not enough time has gone by for me to call you and complain that Inever got them.So they were very rude tome,assuming I was complaining,when I was not unhappy with them at all. I blamed customs,not VSB.They sent me one last message telling me I am very hurtfull,and I am damaging their rep and business and they would send me an international money order for the orders I never got.I tried very hard to clear up this misunderstanding,and they just kept attacking me,and ignoring every explanation I tried to give them.
This is a horrible way to do business and a horrible way to treat a customer.So I will spread the word Stay away from VSB and if you live in America,you are much better off going through the UK.

I read in another thread here that hempdepot.ca is legit? I've never dealt with them personally. Check in the Seed & Strain subforum!
