I just ordered a VaporGenie through 420 Mag. Has anyone tried this little portable vaporizer? Maybe my place won't smell so bad now !!

No offense but that looks cheap as hell and I highly doubt it will work even half as good as a regular vaporizer
How much did you spend on it?

50 bucks and there were quite a few great reviews,I've paid that much for a little glass pipe so it looked like a good deal. I wanted to try a reg vaporizer but there over 500 bucks ! So for 50 it might be worth trying.

I have actually had the pleasure of using this same vape on a few different ocassions. While the vapor is not quite as condensed and thick as a higher end such as the volcano it still provides a pretty smooth vape and is totally portable. She gets the job done man no worries! And you really can't argue a price like that. I paid 60 for a eBay vapor brothers knock off, it worked great for the money and still works after building my own box for it. The box it was built in was built with cheap Chinese cardboard and glue that ruined the vape flavor. Happy vaping!!

I have seen these and they don't seem cheap. I think they are well made and have good components. That said there's not much to it. It's just a pipe but with a ceramic element that transfers heat from your bic lighter to the weed. Yeah it worked but I'm not so sure how much I was vaping and how much I was smoking. I mean, the flame wasn't touching the weed but, like a reg vape turned too high, the weed can actually burn instead of vaporizing. There's no temp control on this pipe. I guess if you experimented you could learn how much flame to put on it. I'd rather just use my da buddah at home (although I hear vapir is good too).

Well I never have tried a vaporizer before but it looked interesting and not too expensive. This way I could smoke without broadcasting to everyone around me.. Like when the kids are spending the night..

I'm waiting for your review.

I guess I'm just an old man, never used a vaporizer before but I bet I've been smoking longer than most of the people on this forum. I'm curious about them, I hear it's the way to go. But right now a $200 or $300 tab ain't gonna happen, I'm still putting my money into growing and equipment!

I don't know how old you are but I was at the original woodstock. I never used a vape till a few months ago but love mine and it was money well spent. it uses less bud for more high, no burn, healthier. Mine is da buddah from gotvape.com and it was $155. Built like a tank and will last forever. If I needed to replace mine I'd cut $155 from anywhere to do it.

I wasn't at Woodstock, only 15, so it looks like you may have a couple years on me.

Da Buddah you say, I'll definitely have to check it out. Does anyone know anything about the iolite portable vape? I saw a guy purchasing one the other day and it looked great.

As you say, everyone tells me it's the way to go, just watching my pennies right now, haven't worked in a couple months.

I have one of these. It's sturdy and very well made.

You don't just put the flame in like a regular pipe or you'll ruin the ceramic as well as burn the weed and clog the screen. You can control the heat by how high you have the flame from the heating element and how fast/slow you draw the vapor. Use your lips to tell you what's going on temperature-wise. In other words, there's a learning curve to using it. It's definitely not for passing around a circle though because it has a small bowl when properly packed and the company will say themselves that it's not a full replacement for a real vaporizer.

I can easily take five or six bong hits but one or two bowls from the VG and I'm loaded up. They work very well in my opinion.

i heard good things about it VaporGenie and i know there are some copys of it so if people are copying it. tho it's no volcano you pay for portability but we all can't be in a basement smoking all day long got to pay for the bud some how

I vaporize all day long and when I want something portable my VG is the best. I bought one when they first came out. There is a learning curve to it, but once you figure it out, it is a great portable vaporizer. I use mine whenever I am out and about. Just don't give up on it after a time or two of it not working for you. Stay persistent and you will figure out how it works. I got mine within two days. I also ordered the pouch to carry it in, I use the pouch all the time to carry my stuff in!!

Own a VaporGenie myself and had it down by the end of the first bowl. Nowhere near as harsh as a bowl or smoking in general. Great vaporizer for the price and simple to master if you're not a moron.
