So would you believe if I said most of these were under $30/3.5g?

damn, though dj short is pricey i might have to grab some of those beans.
The genetics are really solid, as a matter of fact, I have never heard a complaint about a DJ Short strain.

Thanks! Me neither! I have tried some NYC Jack Herer and local phenotype of Jack Herer referred to as Glitter Girl, so I would love to see the differences. I have, I just never made smoke reports before.. I have a decent list of strains smoked. :-D

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: Lemon Diesel (Original NYC Diesel X Lemon Thai)
Sativa / Indica Hybrid (Appears Sativa Dominant)
Growth: Indoor
Nutes: Unsure
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 9.00/10.00

This strain could sell itself off of bag appeal alone. These nugs are practily white and absolutely resin coated! The bud itself is a very light green color with teal hues.

Fragrance:

This has one of the most unique, hard to name, pungent aromas I have come across yet. Although this bud has an extremely strong fragrance, it was difficult to define what the fragrances were! It has a strongly citrus aroma, mainly lemon, but with hints of orange, lime, and grapefruit. Behind the initial Citrus wave, there is a hint of musk and a diesel-family nuance.

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lemon
(Undertone) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Hint) Sour : Citrus : Orange : Pink Grapefruit
(Hint) Sour : Citrus : Orange : Sweet Orange
(Nuance) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Petrol

Flavor:

Everything about this strain is potent! The flavor is an extremely strong and Citrussy, very much like the flavor. There is a slight hint of something fuely in the background, but it is barely noticeable.

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

(Primary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lemon
(Undertone) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Hint) Sour : Citrus : Orange : Pink Grapefruit
(Hint) Sour : Citrus : Orange : Sweet Orange
(Nuance) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Petrol

The High:

I can officially say I have smoked something too strong. This strain is not for a lightweight or novice smoker, it's for experienced or high-tolerance smokers only! I will do the best to explain the high, as it was so incredibly potent that I was rendered unable to write and almost unable to think! This phenotype of Lemon Diesel was a massive creeper followed by a leveling, psychedelic, sativa-high that caused trails in my vision when it peaked! Although the high did destroy me, I think in lower amounts it would benefit people desiring an uppy, mood-lifting, anxiolytic, clear-headed, sativa high.

Comments:

This strain, from the fragrance to the flavor, all the way through the high, is about one word:

Potency

Lemon Diesel is in a league of its own; the aroma fills up rooms nearly immediately, the flavor is left on the palate for quite some time afterward, and the high leaves you lost in the depths of your mind for a rather long duration!

For anyone needing some more potent herb, Lemon Diesel is your strain!

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: G13 (Original clone from Arcata, USA.)
Sativa / Indica Hybrid (Mostly Sativa)
Growth: Indoor
Nutes: Organic
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 10.00/10.00

Another beautiful strain! This one was grown locally, so naturally, I had to pick some up! This specimen is resin jammed! I refrained from breaking up any part of this nug by hand
as to avoid losing any of the beautiful resin glands.

Fragrance:

This is an oddly unique fragranced strain. There is something chemically about the fragrance, to be specific, it reminds me of ammonia. After the initial chemical presence is
noted, an extremely hard to distinguish sagey-lilac undertone becomes noticeable. The overall fragrance was a bit weak, but I think that may have something to do with the
time it was allowed to cure, or lack thereof, but I may be wrong. A very interesting feature of this bud is that when it is burned, it puts off a semi-acrid "burned" chlorine smell
which oddly enough, is still rather pleasant.

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Ammonia
(Undertone) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Sage
(Nuance) Sweet : Floral : Blossoms : Lilac

*note:

The Fragrance, Flavor, and High are spot-on to GHSC's description of their Trainwreck... which is, for the most part, very different than the Trainwreck found on Page One.

Flavor:

The flavor is similar to the fragrance, although, it has a noticeable metallic, coppery nuance. There is also a very slight nuance of "sweet", attributed to a touch of Lilac Blossom.

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

(Primary) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Ammonia
(Undertone) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Sage
(Nuance) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Metallic
(Nuance) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Copper
(Nuance) Sweet : Floral : Blossoms : Lilac

The High:

Sativa. It is difficult to describe the high, as it is extremely potent, not to mention very dose-dependent. With lower amounts, the high is more clear-headed than not, but with high dosages.
this one takes you out there! This beauty takes on an extremely psychedelic high, which can vary from purely psychological to purely visual (I even noted some Open Eye Visuals!).
I was very intrigued to find that this strain brings one to a very anxiolytic, tranquil state of mind, while being extremely racey at times, an amazingly odd combination. I was extremely
satisfied with this strain, regardless of whatever the genetics may be.

Comments:

Amazing strain, could have been cured longer.

Why thank you. I would say 50% are "local" (which are either from medical dispensaries/medical growers/or local growers) and the other 50% are from a friend that orders the bud himself.

shepj u should do a report for grape god.. thanks +rep for a great thread
If I come across it, I will :-)

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to comment! This thread has almost 1,800 views and only a select handful of people have taken the time to let me know what they think... to those of you that do comment, you are my drive to continue.

Cool thread Shepj... just a comment on the DJ strains: while the weed is fantastic and I don't have a problem with it, his strains often have "crinkle leaf" mutations. some people won't tolerate the freaks, which is to bad as they occur in some of my favorite weed. glad you are getting to try such great weed.
