Vaseline-based Balm

Hoping someone has some experience as google ain't helping. Does anyone have any experience making a petroleum jelly based balm? I have a very rare immune issue and can not use oil based products on skin legions - only petroleum jelly. I am only supposed to use it straight but need to add some pain relief to it. So my thought is just to heat up some Vaseline and add in some of my QWET oil.\

Any thoughts?

I thought Vaseline was petroleum based? ... like in oil. What about coconut oil? Work nicely with beeswax @ 50% to the coconut oil. There are many listing on the internet concerning these mixtures with weed.

Vaseline is petroleum based. Petroleum jelly to be exact. It does not hydrate like coconut oil. Mine is a weird condition otherwise I would be using coconut oil.

@Fadedawg : Does Vaseline work like VG or coconut Oil - a fat that you can use to "extract" or that the goodies are soluble into? I have boatloads of leaf I'd like to use for this (already made a little bit with QWET) but then would rather not start with an oil.

THANKS!

While I haven't extracted with hot vaseline, it should work. I've extracted with both VG and coconut oil, as well as most common vegetable and nut oils.
