vector stop making 5x? anyone try the 14?

dude at my local shop told me they are no longer making vector 5x and its all the new 14xor whatever it is, any truth to this? also anyone notice any difference when using the supposedly more refined stuff? the new cans say filtered UP TO 14x the old ones are AT LEAST 5x this all seems like marketing to me

the number of refinements on the bottle doesnt mean much if anything. Power 5x is just as clean or cleaner than vector and its about 25-30 a case. Save your money and dont give him the satisfaction of ripping you off. Got my friend with the same thing. If you want more info look up skunk pharm and check out their mystery oil section.

They took a bunch of different butane and blasted a case of each and collected the mystery oil.

Also, im not saying vector is bad just HUGELY over priced. Especially at head shops what was he askin 10 bucks a can?? Possibly more.

Power 5 is the only Korean Tane I'll use, but they have changed their mix sometime ago...
I've bought a case a couple months back and it passed my 3/4 can test..

I empty almost a whole can into a dish, whenever I buy a case...As one lot can be different than the next.
Always test your solvent, even if it's reputable.

Hard to believe.just 3,4 years ago, Vector was the standard go to brand.

power 5 is just as good .. for the money.. then anything out there really.. u cant get butane thats clean.. with any price tag.. skylighter proved it .. but there are better then power 5.. but for the price. NOPE. nothing is work like 50 bucks more...

Yupp seems like if they dont use power they use newport at least from the people ive seen. Im hopin to get a closed loop soon so ill be runnin clean tane even if i use ronson! haha.

yeah lower ppm is best but you also have to take into account price. Thats why i like power. Case for 25-30 bucks and its 2nd-3rd cleanest out there and the difference from 4th cleanest to 1st cleanest is like 3ppm. which isnt shit!

Id still love to get a distiller to get that shit out of there.

You guys need to step it up to c02 extraction, wasting all those bottles of tane. One day were going to be living in tane cans LOL. I am pro concentrates though so continue your good work.

im workin on a closed loop so i only lose 5-10% of my tane per run.
