Veg to flower

Hey guys I need a lil help, I began my first indoor grow a couple weeks ago and am very new to this.

I had five plants that were not taken very good care of for the first two weeks, i.e. they were under bad lights in a huge area and were not kept at the right temp and there was no air exchange... I know bad start.

these are seeds that I found out of bags so this whole grow is trial and error until I get my set up down to a T i will buy feminized seeds.

My plants are about be on their fourth week and are still pretty small, should I continue to veg them or just go on to attempt to flower them anyways.. Plus Ive heard if you flower them they grow to be about double the size from veg which would be great for now considering I dont have a full grow room ready to go.

All advice is welcome and thanks for the help. im just a strugglin farmer

What I am about to tell you, you're not going to want to hear but I'm going to say it anyways. You should really abort mission and order some good seeds or some clones if you have access to some. The reason I am saying this is because you are going to put money, time, and heart into growing these plants out, heck you already have. When they turn hermie on you and there's nothing you can do but kill them or harvest seeded weed, and you've been expecting better results this can be heartbreaking. This will more than likely be your situation. Once you've got solid genetics, you can apply your environment and knowledge to them and your end results will be much much better than growing out some bagseed. Just my .02, take it for what it's worth.

Ive definitely thought about doing this the only problem is, is that I dont have the money to afford the set up I want for a good healthy plants, right now im only working with cfl bulbs, still looking to upgrade to hps lights, also I dont have a strong air exchange system. So i figured id fuck around with these plants while i raise my income to afford what I want. These plants ill prolly keep for another two weeks until i order my feminized seeds and have the money for my new room.

thanks for the advice and ill keep you posted on what happens!

I hear what you're sayin man, but all the shit my plants have been through, and I did it all for a total of $9 on two plants (I already had some all purpose ferts that I used for a couple months, and soil).
I'm going to hack the Indica this weekend probably, and the Sativa has at least another month to go.
I think as long as we know ahead of time not to expect anything close to the pics like YOU put up, then any harvest at all at the end is rewarding, and the knowledge gained in the process a good foundation on which to start a second grow.

If you put only $9 into this grow why not continue as said for the experience, you can switch to flower anytime and yes they will at least double in size, air flow as you may already know is important, couldn't you find some small fan? even if it's not and oscilating one, just don't aim it directly on the plants.

basically no more money will be spent and i have spent very little, like I said it is trial and error for when I have the money for an efficient grow room and do get some nice feminized seeds. So this grow will continue for atleast the next couple weeks until I can sex them thanks a lot for the encouragement.

I have a small fan that im using, I figured some air flow would be better than none!

I think you got us confused man, it was mine that was the $9 grow, and I'm most likely chopping one this weekend and the other is about a month from being done, but they are both outdoors plants.:weed:
