i have used serenade, it works alright, but i think it is hard to beat neem and a pump sprayer, once every week or two. Matt, do you plan to clean out the understory at all?....help air circ?

What did I miss...?

I'm up to all 4 lights, using 3 MH 600s and 1 HPS 600, and going to be transitioning to all HPS over the next couple weeks. The lights were not being air cooled until I went to all 4. High temps around 77, low around 71. RH is around 50%. Things could be looking better, I think I have some cal/mag issues, mostly due to over adjusting my pH for a couple feedings and watering with 6.3, then over correcting with 7.5ish.

My feeding routine looks like this:
15 gallons of water for 22 pots in 4 gallon pots.
4 mL vega/gal
2 mL cannazyme
2 mL rhizotonic
1 tsp humic acid (bioag 50%)
1 tsp calplex
1 tsp huvega
1/4 tsp technaflora seaweed
couple mLs of wet betty "organic"
pH down to 6.5 (couple mLs)
ppm -> 390ish

Pre cleanup:

I cleaned up all the lowers already. You can see the nodes are gone, but the fan leaves remain, except the ones touching the dirt.

And everything looks great man, I'm confused though, I remember reading that ppm in organics is pointless because the meters don't measure organic matter.

The issue was resolved? As in at one point it was off-gasing? :shock:

Yeah, i don't remember the maker, maybe hydrofarm, but they were putting out tents that needed to off gas and plants were getting killed.

PPM does totally work for organic, whoever said that it doesnt is stuck in old school organics and meals. If you are using bottled nutes, and I am, then around 60 to 80% of the nutes are already available, and will be picked up with a pen. If you are consistent, then you can use the numbers to track your fertigation solution. It's relative to you and your system, but will tell you how strong your overall solution is relative to the last feedings.

I guess that makes sense, what I read talked a lot about ions and how they are what the meters pick up, and organic matter isn't ionic? Eh, I digress... mainly because I don't know what I'm saying, haha...

As far as the tent goes, I wouldn't use anything that might off-gas. I guess make sure it's not one of those models, but you could probably trust them, right..?

ha, TRUST NO ONE!
But seriously. many of the nutrients in organic bottles nutes are in ionic forms. My meter picks up all nutes of all kinds. I used to log the increase in ppm as I added my nutes.
ie
start: 8.5 pH and 83 ppm
5 tbs humic -> 8.5 pH and 100 ppm
1 tbs widow
10 tsp humblodt honey -> 6.6 pH and 240 ppm
flores 30 mL -> 6.0 pH and 350 ppm
rhizo 30 mL -> 6.1 pH and 410 ppm
cannazyme 30 mL -> 6.0 pH and 415 ppm

Hey just curious what you think the problem was with the leaf yellowing and spotting. I'm having the same problems and can't seem to correct it!

anyway....grow looks amazing....gonna sub to this and follow along if you don't mind!

I also am doing vegan organics. Well basic veganics with some BIOMARINE liquid squid at least that's what's claimed by GO I didn't see much in ht about that that line in your sisters article.Its workin awesome so far. No ppm or ph like the bottles claim but I'm starting with 7.0 and I figure it probably dropping with every nute add. Its not quite my first grow but I want a harvest like that guys 1st time vegan grow of that silver haze in that video with kushman. AWESOME so far man.

Let's see. I am about a week into flower and these girls look like they are done stretching. I'm doing some canopy management, bending (pictured below). I just started phasing in the Flores. I am using about 5 mL Vega/Flores per gallon. 5 mL Bioboost per gallon. 5 mL Cannazym per gal. 15 mL molasses total. Tablespoon total of Humic. 10 mL calplex and 5 mL huvega total. 2 mL pH down total to get me to 6.6 pH. You can the flowers coming in, and a little bit of damage on some of my leaves. It happens...
