Ventilation Condensation....HELP!

i just started cooling my hood (1000w) and i'm getting condensation dripping all over off my fan and ducting between the intake and my hood (where the air inside the ducting is cooler than the air outside the ducting). NOT SAFE! and bad for humidity problems. help anyone? just got it hooked up and super bummed its doing this.

were are you getting your air to cool it?

my intake is coming from directly outside.

Insulated ducting would work. Or a dehumidifier. Sounds like your room is pretty humid...

y dont you try reversing your airflow and using your intake to suck inside air and exhaust to the ouyside?


just a thought...

im thinking about this: carbon filter-->hood-->fan-->exhaust(outside) hows that sound? will just the air from the room be cool enough to cool the light? also my flowering room is 7x7x8 with that 1000 and another 400 HPS, just so ya know.
