So I've decided to get a new 48"x24"x60" grow tent and I'll have 3 small plants growing under 3 125 watt CFLs. I have a little experience growing but only one plant at a time so now that I'm moving up I'm not sure what to do about ventilation. I also need to get rid of smell so could I just put a carbon filter in the top hole and be good to go or is a fan and intake vent really necessary for that amount of plants and light? Another thing to keep in mind is that I live in central valley California, which means cold as shit winters and hot as fuck summers. We don't have spring or fall really. No mild seasons, just the ass end of either temperature. I don't have pics but the tent will be in my closet, which will be open at all times. If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have almost the exact sized tent. I am using a 400w HID w/cooltube. I have a small fan inside for ambient air flow and a 440 cfm fan and filter combo. Temps are between 80 daytime and 76 night and the light is about 1.5ft from the plant canopy. I don't know why you are using cfl but it is your grow. However, if you want to max your yield HID is the way to go. OR, being in Cali you could get a medcard and grow as Mother Ganja intended, outdoors under the sun.

Good Luck and Great Growz
