Ventilation Question

So I have had my grow room set up for a few weeks now. I have an exhaust but currently I do not have an intake.

My question is how much will the plants be effected if I dont have an intake? I am going to add an intake when I get paid. But, for right now my budget is not allowing it.

my grow room specs are 7.5' x 6' x 10'

Will I notice a difference when I put the exhaust in?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i only have exhaust extraction but my grow space is open with a few fans circulating the air.
if your grow space is enclosed then you will need another fan to provide the enclosure with fresh air.

yes you will need an intake to make the exhaust fan run more efficient and not overheat. you dont need a fan in the intake, just needs to be passive. in large rooms an intake fan may help, but for now i would install the exhaust fan and a hole for the passive intake. intake hole should be slightly larger than the exhaust hole. set it up and run it and take temps and what not before you start your grow.

Thanks for the help guys. I am currently leaving my grow room door open for a few hours a day to get some fresh air in there until I am able to get an intake.

Appreciate the help.

What are the average temps in your grow room? As long as it doesn't go above 90 F you are all good and dont need an intake fan. Even if you just have an opening somewhere the suction caused by the outtake fan will draw in new air. If you want to strengthen your plants an intake fan would be nice blowing on them.

It averages 82F right now. I have a heater going to keep up the temp because its still cold where I live. if i turn the heater off it drops about 15 degrees. My grow room stays the coolest in my house. I doesnt get too hot in this room during the summer either.
