ventilation question

I am thinking about adding a vent system to my closet. I need to know what I need. First, my closet has an eight foot celing, its about five feet long, and about 2 feet wide. I like the inline duct fans from htg b/c of there low price. Would they work for me. I am thinking about an intake on the door and runnin out the celing. What do you guys think?

do a passive intake system for smaller grow spaces. you just have to make sure the space is airtight and you only need one exhaust fan.

you exhaust to wherever you think is appropriate (usually the top to draw out heat, as well) and you cut a hole in the door to allow air in. the negative pressure from the exhaust fan will draw fresh air into your grow space. do some research on passive intake. :peace:

Thanks for the info. Would passive intake work if I just left the door open instead of cutting a hole in it?

i don't think so. the hole has to be rather confined. you have to create a vacuum basically, and the open door would be too much.
