Ventilation question?

So I feel like a noob here asking this question because I know their are inline filters out there for the purpose of cleaning the air in your grow room befour entering the room, but anyways my question is how do I setup a air filter to the inline fan so I can blow clean scrubbed fresh air into the grow room,
My master plan is down to two methods but I'm not sure what will be a better setup for the girls,
The first being the simple one having the inline fan attached to the window sucking air into the fan into the room, from the inline fan ducting runs to a air filter in the middle of the room pushing air out just in the middle of the room, or
The second being the one I think will be most benitfitical to the plants is to setup the inline fan to the window then attach the inline filter to the fan then ducting from the filter to around the bottom of the room with holes in the ducting to stager the air throughout the room after being cleaned through the filter and also using duct fans to help push more air into the grow room, with a controller setup to the inline fan in the window
I don't plan on setting up fans to my lights due to the season being so cold so the air ducted into the room will be cold the lights will supply the warmth the plants need while the air supply's the fresh clean air that has some coldness to it to regulate the temps in the room all together,
A friend of mine grew and had a step like this but no inline filters that caused him some issues with buds, mold, humidity etc so I will be filtering the air coming into the room but with this setup he always had perfect growing room temps with the winter season not setting up his air cooled lamps then in the summer setting up the air cooled lamps to keep heat down, but my question is about the inline fan how should I set it up ?
Or is there a better easier way to clean the air before entering the grow room?

Take any cold air and move it to 27c/77f and you will get a lot of condensation

that leads to ideal mold conditions, you can fight back with regular applications of neem oil

or you may pre heat that air by taking air from inside the house

then feeding into the grow room you may still get condensation/mold

but it should be considerably reduced its for this reason

and the considerable budstink later that many

use passive venting, it allows the advantages along with the above

to take air from all over the house and at varied temps too

good luck

I wonder if there would be anyway to heat the air that comes in from the outside, I usually vent the heat of the lights into the house but the air for the grow rooms come from outside, the rooms are going to be completely 100% sealed so I'll need a intake fan and exhaust fan to move air, the plan was to vent air in through intake fans through filters and Into the plant area via ducting if I go with this method is there anyway to heat the air as it comes in or what should I do to fix this issue the air has to come in from the outside using intake fans so a filter is a must so no pest or mild spores will be released into the room so now the question is, is there any way to heat that vented air coming in or should I use some other way to get air from the outside in?

Iv decided after a day of researching that since it's winter months I'll run my inline fans from inside the house getting air from another room of the house so temps aren't so different being that it's winter here and I will be growing user HIDS and t5s, my only concern is that the air in the house Isn't the purest people smoke theirs cats and dogs and 6 people living in the house, the house itself is a 2 story with a basement I'm growing upstairs in a spare bedroom so I'll vent air in the winter months inside the house to inside the grow room and use a carbon filter to filter out any bad air so the plants get only clean fresh air at the same to similar temps as the grow room,
I'll vent the exhaust air into the attic and vent the Inline air from inside the house Untill it warms up outside then I'll vent air outside in,

I'm going to have two 600 watts air cooled lights in the flowering room and 400 maby two 400 watts in the veg room then in the nursery in the closet of the room will have a 4 bulb t5 light setup and each room having cold hanging lower into the plants for optimal growth, the exhaust fan is going to be 12" with no filter and a controller and timer attached, exhausting both room at the same time and the inline fans will vent air in each room (the veg and flowering room) by their own fans with controllers setup to them for fan speed and timer, then oscillating fans will be placed around the room
Any concerns or problems with this setup?

I want to have the lights, inline fans, and the exhaust fan fan on a controlled system that dials in the temps and times from the controller, I can setup a ac unit and a heater unit if that's what's needed for these types of controllers but I never seen or used them and would love to incorporate them into the room could someone help?

Seems like you're over thinking it.. vent threw the air cooled hoods and into the attic. You don't even need a carbon scrubber is winter no one can smell shit+it's going up into the attic anyway. Crack a window if it gets hot.

Yea I came to this conclusion last nite when reading up on different setups and reading growers journals and different videos explaining it online, exactly what you just said is what I'll be doing, and as for intake air I'll crack a window and jus put a grill vent or something in the plywood that will cover the windows,

I did want to use some sort of controllers tho or would I be best just using timers and having the fans on and off to clean the old air with new air or should I go with a temp controller that will make sure the temps, and humidity are at a certain setting that I set, which I don't think will vent old stagnant air out fast enough there will be no co2 being used just wondering if someone can answer

I would leave the exhaust fan on. It will make a passive intake. A cracked window will give you an endless supply of fresh air..

I would leave the exhaust fan cooling the lights and bringing in fresh air, on 24/7. get a timer for the lights.. If it's getting to cold you can keep a heater hooked up to a thermostat. If it's to hot a window ac with a built in ( or hooked up to ) a thermostat.

I like this idea and it sounds perfect, thank you for the reply mr sunshine!!
