Ventillation Question!

Hello, I will be growing 1-3 plants in the closet of my room, and I am hoping to do so as undetected as possible. I will be growing hydroponicaly using Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics by Stealth Hydro. The point of this post is to learn exactly what kind of ventilation will be required, as I hope not to have to use pipes as seen in other people's grow rooms. If I am to use two dual spectrum lights, what is the extent of the ventilation system needed? I am hoping to go as small and simple as possible.

If you don't want all the pipes running through that's fine but at least vent some of the heat away from your lights and get a good fan. I vented my light by cutting a hole in the top and placing a comp fan upwards to draw some of the heat away from the plants. Do you have a hps light or what?

a rule of thumb when it comes to ventilation is at a minimum you need to change all the air in your growroom at least once every 5 minutes. just do the math. LxWxH of your area will give you the volume. most fans are rated in cubic feet per minute. I have a 8x4x8 room , that 256 cubic feet. i run a 270 cfm can fan in there to vent my lights and my room. my room stays perfect temp. never above 80. hope thjis helps.

Put a thermometer in that room and vent if over 80 ok, put right at the plants so you know what the temp is at them. With a 8x4x8 room and a (120v)one thousand watt hps, (or get a super ace bulb in that hps ballast for veg and bud and mount sideways with shade))you'll probally be good with only three plants. Just get a good multi speed smaller fan and put in there . Also a fan blowing around the plants will make them move and their stocks will grow stronger.

as a rule of thumb, never go over 80 degrees in your room at the plants or under 60. If you are introducing co.2 may be a consideration, my room is 8x4x8 and i got fifty plants in there and i dont vent either way and i run co2(Propane).

If you do have to vent, get a length ya need of dryer vent hose and vent to your attac and put in a germicidal lamp on a timer. No smell no tell!

PS don't put that germicidal lamp in the room.

3 plants under a 1000?!!!!! you are crazy you can do at least 10. ive seen a guy do 80 under one 1000 hps and got great results.

plus are you using co2 continuously or just injections every now and hten. cause if your just injecting every now and then you still have to vent when your not injecting.

Who ever wrote this I hope you did not really mean PROPANE. Hey bro all this info sounds pretty solid, except for the propane thing. Co2 yes PROPANE NO!!! DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER!! The best thing to do is take a little advice from everyone and then do what works best for you through trial and error.
