venting 400W hps in a 2x3' closet

ok is there anyway i can vent the heat frm a 400 watt mh/hps light in a 2Dx3Wx6H closet? w/o cuttin any wholes or anthing in2 the closet door for intake and out take air fans?

open the door and put in some fans. my 400hps is in a 3 by 3 and 5ft tall I have one intake fan one 250cfm outake fan attached to the air cooled hood and one blowing on the top of the canopy. It still gets warm int there but I'm able to put the hood 2 or 3 inches from the top of the plant. Or you could buy identical closet doors and then make ventilation holes in them.

so where's the intak fan in ur grow room? and wat size air cooled hood u have with that out take fan?

i would get a cool tube ($80-$90 on the internet) and some ducting. it look funky as hell but, you could vent the cool tube to a window or something, that should work

thanks i was thinking bout gtting a cool tube anyway bt i woodnt wanna have the closet door open to went the heat out and their is no window in th closet(dul) so.......?

Put holes in the ceiling and vent to the attic (?) I guess if you are in an apt. or downstairs room this will not work so well. Or through the wall into the adjoining room/closet.

A cool tube won't do you a hell of a lot of good without venting outside the grow. If you aren't willing to saw then you are probably stuck.

Unless you partition off the top couple feet (reduce your canopy though) and insulate it and vent into there. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

idk about buliding one but i was thinking of buying a 3'11''x3'x11'' darkroom from bghydro that along with a air-cool hood a intake and out-take fan and some ducting should prob talke care of the heat from the 400w hps
