Venting to outside?

What's your filtration system? Closest neighbor? Can you still smell pot even with w carbon filter? Should I not vent outside?

i run carbon filters, but you can still smell it. I'm known as the guy on the block that smokes/grows pot. kinda dangerous in the wrong neighborhood. the mailman wont take cookies, because i cant convince him there is no pot in them. i'm legal.

I also vent outside, But I vent my lights only. No smell with lights. I use large carbon filters to exchaust the room hooked up to enviromental controller. During the summer months it smells. But not super bad. Im actually looking into scrubbing the air for my next crop. But re-doing everything is a pain in the ass. But that is the ideal situation.
My neighbors r somewhat close but not houseing tracks. How close r your neighbors?

No card, going to be growing 6 plants (trees lol) going go let em get big. I have a 440cfm fan and filter combo. My neighbors deck is about 25 feet from where I wanted to vent. They smoke, but don't want them to know about my grow! Should I look into venting elsewhere? Would mean cutting a hole in a wall . Plants are going to be in a tent, but if I vent into the room with the tent I'll never get negative preside in the tent correct?

Well I have a can fans 100 carbon air cleaner, Its huge and I still wouldnt vent outside... I can control who comes in but you cannot control who walks by... That tent I take it is a spare room. Just put a small AC unit in the window, itll give you the exchange your looking for

The window is a basement window glass block style.so a window ac is impossible. There is a 6 inch by 3 inch flap/vent thing on 1 of the windows I was going to open, board up the window and attach the vent to the board. I'll have to figure something else out! Looks like my wall might be getting a hole

So even with a carbon filter you can smell it? I was looking to grow 5 auto's in a cabinet and maybe have the exhaust cycle with outdoor air to basement.

Can you smell odor that way too?

Depends on what strain you grow guys... I wouldnt recommend growing any skunk strains while venting it outside...even with a card. all you need is an a/c or something to cool. They make these water cooled fan boxes that work pretty well. Just keep it full of water.

Does anyone know whether Nirvanas PPP strain smells a lot?

I was planing on growing auto's, probly lowryder #2. Is there a list of the more odorous strains?
