Vero 29 Gen 7 Setup

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build my first mirco grow that will be a 32 gallon garbage can.

My plan is to buy parts now that I can easily upgrade or expand in the future when I eventually get a grow tent(I'm thinking 4x2). But I want to start a grow asap(actually by Dec 15th, when it goes legal in MA).

I'm looking for any input on ideas or if I have chosen the wrong parts or if I'm being dumb(happens too much lol). So far here is what I'm planning.

2x BXRC-35E10K0-C-7X (I might actually need to go with the 3000 version since I can't find any of the 35's online)
Someone mentioned that the "C" models are the best, so that's what I'm trying to go with. Would it be better to maybe go with 1 3000 and 1 4000?

1x HVGC-240-2100B.
I think I'm going to push my leds hard to maximize light. I don't think this driver comes with a dimmer knob, does anyone know? Should I bother with a dimmer(I'd like to have one).

Now for cooling I like the idea of passive, no worrying about a fan dying and causing everything to overheat. But I'm not sure if passive cooling will be worth it if I'm running the cobs at 100w+. I found some company called "cooliance" that offered heatsinks for high wattage but I cannot find one place that actually sells them.

Couple things...

Way overkill for light in that space more than likely imo. but thats not really a "problem" per se.

What is a potential problem is your driver requires a 220v connection.

Also, might be asking a bit much too cool 100+w passively.

Good spot on the driver! I have been doing a bunch of research I intended to post HLG-240H-C2100B

Yea, I agree but I'm planning on getting a 4x2 tent which I will buy additional cobs/drivers when I get it!

It is a lot, it seems like it *CAN* be done but somewhat expensive and big.

@Danielson999 has you covered. I will just echo spend the cash on the 140mm and you will be fine. I am pushing my 3590's at about 75-80w each and the 140mm pin sinks are doing just fine. The veros were not out yet when I built my light or that's the route I would have gone. get some good optics on these and you will rock the house in any space you put them in.

@Danielson999 @Evil-Mobo Thanks guys! This is exactly the type of input I was looking for.

In all honesty I want(ed) to run the cobs hard in order to break the 20k lm mark. Now I'm going to have to rethink that!

You can buy a driver that powers 2 at 100w each and dim them slightly and simply get 2 more cobs and another driver when you get your 2'x4'.
That's exactly what I'm planning on doing! :)
