Thanks for the info rahj and Indiana.Got my veros yesterday abd started taking apart the lights before getting called in for a no heat call. Being oncall sux! The drivers from the square light are the 70-90v 500-560ma the others are unknown. I plan to put the v18s on the rectangle light with one driver. Hopefully get some time today after work to play with 'em.

Trying to test out the unmarked drivers in one of the Chinese lights I have. 112 1w leds divIded into three circuits labled as a 120w. I'm getting a reading of 88.6vdc and 2A out of one driver hooked up to one circuit. It doesn't SOund right. Unless there's sone series parallel stuff gong on? can someone point me to a good thread about testing led drivers and circuits? muchappreciated

So where do you actually buy these new fuckers.
Digikey. You got to try a vero :bigjoint:

I am glad the mounting distance is still the same 43mm. I will give these a try when they come out. Not much gain in efficiency but would be cool to play with. No need to attach thermocouple. Led temp data already available and recorded. Nice to have built in thermal protection. Also tells how many hours on. Veros are nice and cheep and I hope these new veros are not expensive due to added functionality

Plants seem to be responding well after being under the V18's @ 560ma for a couple weeks. Trying to figure out the flowering light to build. I'm looking at 9 V18's @ 1050ma or 700ma. Does anyone know the canopy penetration levels of the V18's @ these currents? Thanks

I looked at the chart, does "50c %" mean percent efficiency at 50 degrees C? I bought two of the 4000K Vero 29 v2 cobs and was trying to find the efficiency at 1400mA.

Has building your own cob setup become any easier or accessible to the everyday guy?

I want to build a unit to run alongside my optic that I got from supra last year..

Onward I read...
