Here it is,

What light times do i use for very small plants?

Its on day 3 and i have been doing 12/12. And its growing great... I have since found out by reading a few topics that is the lighting you want when you want to flower?

I have very limited space so im going to let the plant get maybe a foot tall then start flowering it.

Im not looking for a large yield, I just want to grow a bud or 2 and be able to say... I grew my own bud and smoked it... After that ill be doing the same thing over and over again.

Mind you this is my first ever attempt and im just experimenting around here so dont be to hard on me :D

So what lighting do i use when their just starting out and such.

Thanks for your help.

So really they can have as much light as they want until you want them to start flowering? And thanks for the quick reply, That doesnt happen alot but looks like this is quite a large community.

for the first week or two if life you should do 24 on and 0 off after that switch it to 18/6. Use 12/12 when you want to flower.

Fuck the lights, 24/7 all the way to flower! Some people like to wheen them of light just befoure flower, maybe I'll try it next time, but for now 24/7 to 12/12 workes for me and less headache too.

I disagree with the 24/7 guy. I've done both. The plant doesn't get very much bigger and grows at about the same rate. I would recommend 24/7 from sprout into veg, but not veg into flower. The extra cost really isn't worth it. If you are using 1000 watts 18/6 at .10 cents/Kwh you're going to save $18 bucks a month. Plus all the extra hours on the light...its really not worth the gains.

I agree.

It's okay to start them off on 24/0, but drop that down to 18/6 after about a week and keep it on 18/6 till you switch to 12/12.

ive really been researching the methods of light cycles and it looks like almost everyone goes with the 18 6 for veg and 12 12 for flowering. so either everyone is wrong or pablo is the plant whisperer
