I have sprouted a power kush seed, now its 6 days old but it is very undeveloped and have tiny narrow leaves.
Why they grow undeveloped? Its the genetic of the seed or is something wrong with the soil / grown medium?
I have a White Rhino in the same soil that have good sizes but it was sprouted withoud the perlit in the soil.
Could that mix with perlit in the soil result in undeveloped seedlings or whats wrong with this plant?

P.S. Veged under 100w cfl white 6500k

if you have another seed in the same soil, same water, same light...and its doing fine..then its not your setup..most likely a bunk seed..it happens...did it have any issues shaking its shell off?

Yes, it had issues with the shell. Can this plant make a come back and grow without problems or to sprout another seed?

@mikimike the lights are closest i can get them, ill try to repot it in a bigger home or maybee ill srput another seed.

i would give it a bigger pot. It really sould recover. start giving it low dosage of nuts like 1/8 of recommended amount. and water it and leave it for 3 days should get those roots spread out and should repair itself and then start booming

you normally see abnormal growth from a seedling after it has issues breaking loose from its shell...might be the way you germ...try letting them sit in a cup of water for 24 hours before trying to germ it...it lets the seed fill with water and it helps to break loose its shell.....and theres always a chance it might make it...long as its forming leaves...its growing roots and developing...just have to wait and see...but i wouldnt transplant it..if its already stressed dont stress it even more...transplant shock right now would probably kill it...i wouldnt start a seed in anything smaller than a party cup...roots grow a lot faster then the plant does...ive had roots take over a party cup in under 2 weeks...dont start them in something too small..or too large at the same time....give it a few days...when you start seeing roots in the bottom..then transplant it

I started germination in a cup of water for about 24 hours and then i have put the seed between wet paper towels. Maybe i have not buried the seed deep enough in the soil cause it have poped up in a day.

yeah...the further down its place the more the soil can break the shell loose...if it pops too soon then the first two leafs are trying to push the shell off when it opens...making part of a leaf stick to the shell...which can make it have weird growth...or really slow growth if the shell takes part of the leaf with it

Dude I had the same problem with 2/4 of my NYPD fem seeds...I transplanted them and fed them some humic acid and nutes (in the form of a tea), They definitely are behind a bit from the other two, however their secondary leaves are just starting to develop well, and they are quickly gaining height. I def had issues with them in germination (being my first grow i think it was too cool for them) Bought a germ kit with a heating pad (simply cuz the heating pad alone costs the same amout) hopefully that will change things. I soaked them for 12 hours, perhaps it should have been 24. Also I took them off 20/4 and put them on 18/6, that seemed to speed them up a touch...Pics in my journal...
