Man, oh man, some of you are just cruel as sh*&. You know why I didn't spell the word out??? Because just last night I myself got an "infraction" for this----------
In fact, come to think of it, it was SHE that taught ME what the hell "lol" was........LOL.
This was merely a response I made to someone regarding "older" people not knowing what LOL meant. I was only saying that my 65 year-old mother at the time was the one who enlightened me to what it meant. Hell, I didn't know.....I wasn't one to go on forums and chat rooms. Oh no!!! Will I be banned for posting the word "hell?" I asked what I was doing wrong to get one-------not mentioning names, and the "Mod" told me that in asking I was instigating with him. I mean, come on. I don't come here to argue with people, nor do I come here to be reprimanded like a child. Had I posted "wth" instead of what I did, maybe things would have been kosher??? I doubt it.
And then I was threatened of being banned for calling someone a punk who was for no reason whatsoever going on a tangent about how I was a whore who would suck his ____ for a line of coke. What can I say? He WAS a punk.....and this all stems from what? I say it's a need to control. Obviously someone was not taking the time to use good judgement on either call. This is the ONLY forum I've ever dealt with whereas I feel harassed........and I'm not going to kiss-assto any mod. I mind my own business and I carry myself well. I'm a very down to earth person who doesn't mean harm to a single soul and that should be EVIDENT.
Again, I don't come here for this kind of treatment/attention. We are all supposed to be adults here, yes?
I would like to think that I can visit when I wish, how often I wish to and I enjoy viewing others grows and giving advice when I can......but it's not worth it if I have to tolerate that kind of abuse........and yeah, that's what it is.
I can already see the future posts of calling me a cry baby. Let me go ahead and clarify.....I'm not whining so to speak. I'm just speaking the truth. Life is too short to play silly games.
I don't get off on playing them. If someone wishes to ban me (or threaten banning me) for absolutely nothing.....so be it, I assure you, my life will go on.
But for what it's worth ill..I get it. Yes, this is supposed to be a forum for serious growers and if I were in the middle of something as serious as my grow and then was suddenly thrown off, I'd be po'd too. Like it or not, with all the "labels" given to any one of us.....not a one of us is an EXPERT....sorry, hate it for you that feel you are. We all have something we can learn from one another.
Life is too damn short to be defending yourself against a bogus accusation. Life deals enough shit already. Why should it here? I'd like to believe the people I post to are a majority of hippies or at least remotely mature, but I question that now.
Now, check back in a few days to see if I'm even still here.......I feel a ban coming my way..........SIGH.

I'm really not sure which part you don't get.
Simply put, what is printed in blue in my first post is what I received an infraction for----that is what RIU apparently feels is cause to give me an infraction for inappropriate language.
You too were in that thread at the time. And you and I both were on the same page. "Refresher"---you didn't take too kindly to a particular member congratulating you for being a black man. Refelect back on that thread and you tell me. Did I deserve to be reprimanded? Another question, were you? If not, why? You and I were both stating the same thing to that person.
My first warning was of being banned. This was simply for calling someone a punk who was calling me an assortment of things "Just for the hell of it"......I replied that he was a punk. And he was---that simple.
That didn't warrant my being warned of a possible ban.
And finally, I'm an adult. I don't behave like a foolish child and I certainly don't expect to be treated as if I behave like one.
Tell me.....had you been warned because of what you posted in that thread, wouldn't you at minimum question?

I'm just glad I don't live in a world where everyone is alike...makes for a boring world.
I respect people from all walks of life and I can find something to appreciate about most people I encounter.
So, I'll end this by saying "Sue me RIU" for when I encounter that one punk.
