this video is my journal for 2 things in one. First off is that colder weather will turn the bud purple. It went from 70-90s in day to low to mid 40s at night and my hairs are all turning pink.(pink dries purple) Also to see if my extreme to save a seedling will work. If it does its one for the books so i needed proof! The seedlings were attacked by the damn dog, Royal Queen Amnesia got snapped at the soil and RIP her 2 slightly older sisters(the auto ak47 twins) they didnt make it past the dog attack. Anyway I grafted the seedling to my Kali mist (lil sis) whos older sister is almost 6' tall now and also turning pink.

Temps varying that drastically can result in hermaphroditic plants due to the stress. You generally want the daytime and night time temps to be within 15 degrees of eachother. You will also probably start noticing the stems turning purple, which is a sign of a phosphorus being locked out. Hope any of this helps. Plants are looking good though man!

Awesome man. Keep updating! I just finished some Grand Daddy Purple and it turned completely purple with temps around 65. Maybe the gdp always turns purple though.

there are much easier ways to get you plant to turn purple.

purple food coloring in your water works great.

but if you wanted something with a bit of a purple tint why didn't you buy a strain that does that?

i didnt really do it to make it purple, just to see if it really would. My friend was doing the same strand and all his hairs turned pink. Was thinking it was cuz of this, i take mine in when it gets too cold and he cant. But my greenhouse is done now dont need to worry about it.
