This is how it starts... bigger and bigger a little at a time... growaholics!!

I started with a 400w. look at me now I got lights on order and I'm already thinking about what I'm gonna do with the next batch in the future and i just got another earlier in the week

Ha. Well I already have the 400. Problem was that even throttled down to 200 it fried my cab with the 4 in inline fan making lots of noise. So was thinking if I could fit a cool tube I could compare yield on 200w of led vs hps out of curiosity. Can run his in winter if it did noticeably better.

The cooltube would lower cab temp without increasing air flow so the two cabs would dry out about the same. Then could give mites and water the same to make better comparison.

And during summer I can compare led lamps as money permits.

Just keep in mind glass decreases your lumens... so running 200w through a cooltube you are not even gettin 200w I know you don't like CFLs but this 200w CFL I have kicks ass and would be perfect for that kind of cab almost no heat. They have all the way from 100w up to 350w. I'm actually pretty impressed with how well it's doing and the veg plants are lovin it. CFLs dumped into the environment are bad, but they do have places you can turn them in for recycling - EPA site says pretty much everything in a CFL is recycled if you take it to a proper recycling center.

I'd have to save them for when I go to town. Think I just tossed my dead one the other day

Man there were times during flower she smelled like pissed portable. At trim I had to stop and just let it be unmanicured, the smell of cat piss at this stage was so pungent I couldn't do it. It cured out thank god, I would have chucked it if it continued like that! Never had something so vile smelling, it has the lingering smell of almost like a stink bug. Whats bad is that the high is amazing, soaring and motivational without an edge. I actually caught a head rush, made me feel like a teenager for a second. The taste has become slightly floral and slightly sweet with like an alkali/tinny aftertaste almost like blood or something. I don't know... shit makes me sound like a freak or something. lol
Do a 4x3 with both the led and the 400 in there, you'll have buds coming out your nethers. doooooooweeeeeeet

Sounds interesting but too smelly for me

I got a couple of timewrecks with a cat pissy ammonia smell... luckily doesn't seem to carry over to the dried bud. This grow my favorite smelling ones are the CCMs... I like the one that smells like fresh soft clear rubbery-plastic like on the outside of a new plastic covered 3-ring binder. Reminds me of new school supplies lol or christmas

Carp, didn't get to check the cab today. Hopefully the veg plants are ok until tomorrow

Shit my youngest cuts that I transplanted into big pots look like they could be flowered now if I had room under the lights I gotta tie'em down tonight cuz they're growing like crazy already.

So just got home a little bit ago and getting done taking care of things. Took a quick peak in the cab. Going to shower to get all these vehicle fluids and road grime off before harvesting.

So anyways took a look in and my heart about stopped. Three colas had these thick solid white areas. I was afraid of mold from when the light was about. I pulled off the tip of the closest one that had it. Looks like a lot of white pistols bent over to the inside. I lifted them back to find these little fish egg looking things inside.

Please tell me this was the start of seed formation and not some bad news. Couldn't get a good pic of it

Doesn't sound like anything normal to me... sounds like pests or mold. Guessing pests from the sound of it but hard to tell without pics. At the end apollo does get swollen calyxes that look like seeds they're just unfertilized but they just look like seeds forming... need pics

I'm not really sure what seeds forming looks like. Inside looked like small shiny capsules, there might of been two of them. Too small to get a photo of them. Trying to upload what I can get of the outside. Going to shower and cut the ones in question first so I can try getting a better photo

The one in the black box is the one I pulled off to examine. best shots I could get until I can cut it down.

Can't tell what that is haven't really seen anything like that before... pic isn't quite detailed enough to tell real well either... i'd just go with your instinct if it's part of the plant leave it if not, cut it off. if there's air flow in the cab then it shouldn't be mold unless it's super duper humid and hot.

It is humid but fan is on 24/7 and been mostly below 80. I'll try to get a better pic in a minute

Did you feel it to see if it feels different that other tops?
